"NOPE! TV is off during meals." Here as well, and everyone is expected to be there.
Good morning. I have an appointment with the doctor to discuss the test results that found no problems. I suppose there may be some point to our meeting. This evening I have another meeting of the search committee at our church. May this be the last committee of any kind in my life. They're all good folks but committees are committees.
Enjoy your day.

Good morning, all.
There is much discussion in the clinic today about whether we should continue to require the wearing of masks in the clinic. Even among clinical folks, the argument tends to come down to "I'm tired of being told I have to wear one" rather than asking if there is good clinical evidence to support a particular position. I'm beyond tired of all of this. I suspect, though, that we are beginning another wave of large case numbers. I hope I am wrong. If I am right, I hope the cases will be mild enough to prove inconsequential.

Off to the Doc for labs, only takes a few minutes.
Then down to my shop.

Must be doc day. I had an eye treatment followed by my second booster this AM.
The doc I would really like to see is mine, in the water. Unfortunately it still remains well solidified.

My day off and though I got in four miles in the woods with IceSha, I haven't yet started on my to-do list.

Something of a busy week here. Zoom social chat today will be short for us because I have to take Mr. H for his eye injection. Tomorrow I visit the orthodontist. He will probably tell me that after 3 months of Invisalign on my top teeth, it's now time to have the offending bottom tooth pulled, which was the reason for consulting with him in the first place. Then another 3 months of what I've been doing plus starting a year with wire braces on the bottom. All to keep as many teeth as possible in my old age. The orthodontist doesn't do the extraction, so I'll have to see when I can get in to see my periodontist. Thursday Mr. H and I resume hosting a monthly lunch that was put on hold during the Omicron surge. Friday is the last session of a church study group. Probably we'll do that on Zoom, as we have the other 5 sessions. But I have told the church choir director that I'll be back at rehearsals next week. The choir is resting this week after the Easter crunch and because the director also directs another group that has its big concert this weekend. And Sunday we have reservations for a brunch buffet at a local fancy resort. Have not been to that since March 2020.

It's show week. Spent most of the day in the auditorium working on sound. Heading pretty quick to clean up some wireless mic issues and organize my light/sound booth. Dress rehearsal last night and again tonight. Matinee on Thursday. Yikes!

The only reason I got it is because there is a room in my house that was called the answer for years. I had never used it before. That's a pretty mild spoiler alert, and late in the day.

We have one of those too, VI, and the word is commonly used here. I thought of it before my fourth guess but decided that it was the least likely of the many possibilities.

Work day done. Weather is too crappy for motorbiking so it is time for vicarious pleasure of watching "Itchy Boots" season 6. The rider, a petite Dutch woman, rides the same motorcycle as me, a Honda CRF 300 Rally. How she is able to jump on and off that bike with such grace continues to amaze me. I think I need some yoga work.

So you know what I did, I got over it and put the damn mask on and when I left the clinic I took the damn thing off, didn't hurt a bit. Wearing a mask is not going to kill anyone and I won't tell you that not wearing a mask is positively going to kill someone. But if not wearing one does kill someone, it wasn't me, I wear the damn thing.

We don’t go into any building or enclosed space that isn’t our home without wearing a certified N95 or KN95 mask. And we discard them after a few days. We don’t plan any changes in the near future.
