I parked my car at the bottom of this hill, walked rather briskly to the top, ran into someone I knew and had a conversation without having to pant or catch my breath. Yes, I'm fat, but all of this walking around I've been doing must be doing some good. I felt pretty good about this.

Good on you, Todd!
In January, my BP was hovering around 130/90, and sometimes a few ticks higher. On Saturday it was 118/78. Phew.

109/70 (60bpm) right now, 21:30. But I take a light dose of amlodipine, 5mg.

Yes, I'm fat, but all of this walking around I've been doing must be doing some good. I felt pretty good about this. Get a FITBIT. You don’t need a crazy expensive fancy schmancy one. Get a basic one that will tell you how many steps you take each day and also monitors your heart rate. It is a wonderful tool to help you achieve better fitness and do it gradually and safely. They even come in colors to match your outfits as remaining fashionable while achieving fitness is very important, of course. LOL!
