good morning. Just completed my morning bike ride. Don't really have any plans for the day so we'll take things as they come. Have good ones.

Good morning. I’m in Flagstaff and it is expected to be a rainy day. That’s OK. It’s cool and pretty. Enjoy your day.

Good morning
67F-81F partly cloudy.
Just shop time today, I hope. But I'll probably get sent on an errand or two.
I spent last evening going through my World coin collection. I gathered them for my grandkids to look at and feel. I collected coins from about 30 countries plus American coins found metal detecting and are rather old, dating back to the mid 1800s. I even have two ancient Roman coins from the 1st and 3rd centuries found in the UK. The lion's share are Canadian. Many of those will just get exchanged for US. The kids are no longer interested in them and I'm not either so I'm cataloging them and will sell them to a collector. Oddly the most valuable coin in the collection is a 1940s Greek 100 Drachma. Tonight will be a lot of typing up the catalog.

Wish there were 25 more. A 25 day hold, then on to the last week. I would put a hold on August, too.

Just home from a 25 mile bike ride on this absolutely beautiful morning. With RAGBRAI going on the trail was not too busy, but I did see a momma deer and her 2 fawns, standing in a yard, in Center Point, that butted up to the bike trail. Momma deer was maybe 30 feet from me and seemed totally unconcerned by my presence. The fawns, quite large, but still with fading spots, were just prancing around enjoying the cool weather. Wish we had more days like this in the summer.

I just noticed on FlightAware the shortest tail number of any aircraft I've ever encountered there: N3A.
Turns out it's one of the Goodyear blimps, in town for the 3M Open this past weekend.

September might last three)

Yup. September around here is best. I remember in high school I would walk to our football games shuffling through the fallen leaves. It was about a mile to the high school. It was a most pleasant walk in the fall

WSJ says the upper middle class is being squeezed. Hard to express how badly I feel for them.

Tonight will be a lot of typing up the catalog. My dad collected coins from the time he was a paper boy 'til the day he died. He kept his coin collection in a steamer trunk. When we moved to Buffalo, NY at the end of his life, it took two guys and a heavy duty dolly to get the trunk up the ramp and into the moving van. It was HEAVY. When he died, it made for a pretty significant addition to the life insurance that helped mom get by.
