I watch a lot of sailing channels on YouTube. Inflatable paddle boards are sometimes used by live-aboard sailors to tootle around anchorages. When not in use, the boards are often left for long periods on deck or tied to the boat's guard rails in direct and blazing Caribbean or Mediterranean sunshine, seemingly without suffering harm . If it were my board that burst, I'd definitely try my luck at getting a refund or replacement board.

Even hard boards have pressure slaves, otherwise they would delaminate on a hot day.

My daughter got one and I gave it a try. Sitting or kneeling on it is fun. Falling off standing up would seem to be part of the learning process, and I figured I was more likely to twist something falling off before I got the knack of standing up.

That's why I prefer pedalboards. Mine would probably survive being run over by a tank.

Another update. I went ahead and submitted a claim and was honest about what happened and they are sending me a new board free of charge. Garage door is my problem. The first one that I bought was an older discontinued 1.0 version and they are replacing it with the hopefully less explode-y 2.0 version. Assuming they actually ship it I have to give ISLE good marks for customer service.
