Bill, didn't you go to them? I'm thinking about going that way once the business sale goes through. Looks like I'll get better coverage at our camp because they use T-Mobile and AT&T networks.
Currently with T-Mobile.

I am with T-Mobile (I signed up with Sprint and they of course switched). I am more surprised when my phone works than when it doesn't. The world is one big dead spot. I suspect T-Mobile has one tower and it's somewhere in Idaho.

Doug had Consumer Cellular and told me about it. My wife and I have been on it for several years. We are quite satisfied. We called them before going to Cancun in January and they switched on something on my phone and I was able to call home with it at no extra charge. I think that was over the resort's WiFi.

We have T-Mobile for phone and internet now, unlimited phone and text. We quit Direct TV as soon as our contract ran out and since we have a Roko we get all the channels we need.
Our T-Mobile phone is a bit pricey but that's because Grandma insisted on paying for all the granddaughters phones. That's coming to an end soon because with me working very little we just can't afford it. The girls understand, they all have jobs now, and will get their own service soon.

Couldn't be happier with Tracfone (sister company to Straight Talk, both affiliated with Walmart). Tracfone/Straight Talk will work with any wireless company's tower.
I pay $20 a month for unlimited talk/text and 1G per month high speed data. It switches to unlimited slow data after that 1G is gone (I don't recall the details). I have never come close to using my 1G of Data. Most of my use is at home or where I have access to free wireless.
I expect that Tracfone/Straight Talk and Consumer Cellular offer very similar usage plans and rates, but I expect that Tracfone/Straight Talk has a good deal more marketing muscle and access than Consumer Cellular (big outfit vs tiny outfit).
Do beware of attractive offers that are [in small print] for an introductory period only, after which, they jump up in price considerably. I recently noticed very attractive plans/rates being offered by Mint Mobil. Those attractive plans/rates (one was $20 a month unlimited talk/text, 3G high speed data package) were only good for the three month intro period. After that, all jumped up substantially (the $20 plan went to thirty-plus something).

Currently with T-Mobile. Nope, considered it, but I am a renewed Verizon guy, pay $5 a month for service and whatever else I deem necessary in minutes. I doubt I ever pay more than $25 a month for my total cellphone use.

Mr. H and I have had our Android phones with Consumer Cellular since we got them in 2018. We get the AARP discount. With tax, we pay $53.30 a month for unlimited talk and text, and 2GB of shared data. That works for us because we use WiFi when we're home, which is most of the time.

We pay thru the nose. Verizon. It was $125/mo for 2 phones. Phones were paid for. Old XR iPhones. But we just upgraded to iPhone 13s. With our return of the old XRs and a "deal" we're not paying any more than we were before. I sure do like the new phones. But it ain't a bargain. Not too bad for what we get. But I just didn't want to go thru the hassles of switching and hunting down new phones.
