Here's one for you, and a caution--there's a NSFW word in the last line.
My friend Dave broke his leg so I went to see him at home. So I got to his place, walk in, and what did I see?
I hadn't known him too long, so I was astounded to find that Dave had two gorgeous sisters, and they were twins! I had never met them before, apparently they lived at uni and were home visiting, but hard as it was I tried to ignore them and I went on up to my friend's room.
“How are you doing?” I asked.
“I’m okay. But my feet are freezing. Could you do me a favor? Go get my socks from downstairs. they're next to the couch.”
So I went back downstairs and of course his two sisters were still on the couch, right there where his socks were.
Thinking quickly, I said, “Dave sent me down here to have sex with both of you."
They responded, “No way... Prove it.”
So I shouted upstairs, “Hey, Dave! Both of them?”
He shouted back, “Of course both of them! What’s the point in fucking one?”

Horseback riding lesson this morning and then spending the afternoon assisting one of the therapists at the horse therapy ranch. Today will be my first lesson at a new ranch. It is only two properties away from the therapy ranch. I didn’t even know it existed until the therapist clued me in. My previous lessons were 30 miles from my new home. Now I am only four miles from both lessons and the therapy ranch. Perfect!
Have a great day, everyone.

My big news. I'm 75 and my wonderful wife died 8 years ago. I was set to live the rest of my life alone. A lady I knew 49 years ago has stepped into my life and all the bells and whistles have gone off. Funny how things happen. We are both very happy. We do not want to get married, we will just live in sin. It works for us!

Factorychef, that's terrific. I've watched the same thing happen with a good friend who's a widower. You're fortunate.
Good morning, good people. It'll be a seasonable 80-100 with clouds. This is my only day this week without something scheduled but I do have a few chores that require attention. All's well. Enjoy your day.

The summer-perfect weather continues for today and tomoro, according to the soothsayers, then rain, which we still need.
My mood is smarting after writing a check yesterday that was pretty darn close to what I paid for my car, all so my car can have a nice smooth driveway to park on or glide into the garage.
It damn well better have diamonds as reflectors. No zirconium!

So far I have a load of towels in the washer and have dumped the soil out of a planter and rinsed it out to set in the sun. The rosemary that was in it didn't look good. Yesterday I discovered what looked like fungus and also lizard eggs. I don't think the eggs were what got it, but that does tell that me the soil was too moist. Will clean it out with bleach and start over with new soil and a new plant and make sure that drainage is good. We have another rosemary plant in a different pot and it looks fine.
I have an appointment at the orthodontist later this morning. The first one since I had a tooth pulled. Sometime soon, probably not today, we move on to getting wire braces. I will look like a 12 year old, at least in that regard.
Dinner out tonight. Mr. H surprised me by saying that he wants to go to Golden Corral. I think he's anticipating not being able to eat lots of things once he gets his (molar) crown extracted. His appointment next Monday is only a consultation, so don't know when that will be.
Our various dental issues may cost nearly as much as a driveway or a car. and no diamonds.

Nothing much planned for today. Run through "Malted Milk" a few more times so we can record it Sunday. I continue to watch our video "Hey Hey" trending on YouTube. It's up to around 633 views and 12 thumbs up over the last couple days and is trending again this morning. YouTube algorithms continue to recommend it. That same video was out there for two years with around a dozen views. Re-releasing it with an Eric Clapton reference made all the difference.

I'm happy to report that after my battle with the steel fence post yesterday I'm feeling great. I had a little kink in my left shoulder/neck this morning, but a 24 mile bike ride seems to have taken care of that.
Grocery shopping this afternoon.

Of course you will meet her and I may be able to get her to sing, she has a nice voice. She likes jazz.

Playing for a Hospice butterfly release this afternoon. Nice event.
The painted lady butterflies come frozen from South America on dry ice. They are in little envelops and after a few hours of thawing they are ready to rock and roll. After a brief WTF moment they get with the program and fly away. Well most of them-

Which reminds me--I got to play two of Terry's guitars at Willie's on Saturday and was particularly impressed with #82. If I weren't in the process of deacquisitioning, I'd be very tempted by that one.
