Who knows? I have coffee and a glowing IPad here in the quiet darkness. Time to work off those Thanksgiving calories. After I fully wake up, of course. Stay supple.

Beautiful day earlier, might've hit 70 (tho windy). Then some thunderstorms came thru, radar shows that's done, so some riding tomorrow. Wife made dinner, katsu plus potato salad (lots of broccoli). I need to figure something out for tomorrow night.

Drove past Woodfield Shopping Mall yesterday to and from my mom in the Nursing Home. The highway around the place was a traffic jam. And while sitting at a light, I glanced at the parking lot. It was full and overflowing. On the news last night they said they had too close the doors, there were too many people in there.
Crazy.

I stayed home from work today. I have the best attendance record of the entire Warsaw Post Office, but I've reached a sort of breaking point. Dar is off with IceSha at a scentwork trial. I intend to spend a few hours in the woods today contemplating our future.

If people were smart, they would order everything online and put all the stress on postal workers, delivery drivers, UPS, and FedEx.

Good morning. It'll be high 30s to mid-60s here. My agenda is small. I keep it that way when our children are visiting.
All's well.

Going to be a beautiful day here, sunny, high in the low 50s, light winds. I may have to go on a backroads adventure of some sort after I run a couple of quickie errands. Hmmmm, ponder, ponder.

Good morning. 35F-51F sunny. It shall be a nice day for this time of year. Woke up a little late so everything is a rush before shop time. Feeding the kitties next door while their people are gone. Late getting my meds, needed a shower and some breakfast. DaWife has something planned after shop time, probably Christmas shopping. I hope SHE has some money, probably does because she has already cleaned me out. Then again if we are out shopping I just might get a taco for lunch.

I intend to spend a few hours in the woods today contemplating our future. I'm glad you're staying home and I'm sending "waves of understanding" to the Warsaw area mail/Amazon patrons, so maybe they can get an idea of how broken the current system is, and realize it's OK if stuff is late. Seriously, it is. If you have any tips (in addition to getting a bigger box) on how to make my carrier's life a little easier, I would appreciate them. I've thought about getting some sort of "package box" at the curb, but I'll have to check with my SHOA rules (same with the mailbox size). By the way, I assume most carriers ignore the "employee tipping and gift receiving policy"? So if I left a thank you in my mailbox with cash or a cash equivalent in it, my carrier wouldn't curse me for leaving something that is against the rules, and not pick it up/leave it in my mailbox?

The way to make life nicer for a mail carrier is to go back to making pottery.

Cranberry oatmeal muffins are in the oven. Nothing much planned beyond breakfast. Lots of things to do, but nothing planned. Maybe we'll get the Christmas lights out of the garage and maybe we'll put up the outside lights. A chilly 38F when we got up this morning.

My goal for today is to try to get my part of "Drop Down Mama" figured out so we can record it tomorrow. Still haven't figured out a good break for it, so Eric will have to fill in the gaps. If not, it may wait another week.

Today is guitar store day. Carter's is by appointment only on Saturdays now (I assume so they can avoid all of the tourists like me), but Gruhn's is open. I think I will also check out Rumble Seat, as it appears they have a lot of funky stuff in stock.

Breakfast or lunch, both are great. Mike

The way to make life nicer for a mail carrier is to go back to making pottery. I think the chances that my mail carrier is a sabbaticalled potter are pretty miniscule.
