We played our usual Tuesday night wine bar job this week and as always the set list was mainly standards and show tunes from the 30's, 40's, and 50's.
Near the end of the night an older couple was leaving and the wife turned and said "You guys take me back to black and white"
A great promo hook but I bet you could write a good song or piece of poetry around it.

It is a terrific line. I love it when life hands you something like that. Maybe the patron had heard the line before or maybe it was just an inspired and uncommonly artful off-the-cuff comment. Maybe she's a writer.
