Seems to me that you folks are getting a lot of nice rains. More than typical or just typical?
Does it come with the snowbirds? Is it connected to the increase in Pickleball? Is the desert going to bloom like hell? Are farmers and urban water managers happy? Is the SW drought broken?*
Is this a harbinger of a new green AZ (kind of like the new Dune)?
*ok, I know that officially droughts are never declared over until every last tenth of missing rain over the last five years has been made up, but, unofficially, has the worm turned?

Paul and Renee may have other views. It's been a pleasantly wet year in a long series of mostly dry ones. I think we may well get good wildflowers this spring. We're already seeing the plants in our yard.
We get water from two different systems. The water for the yard comes mainly from higher country to the north and east of here. Those reservoirs are in pretty good shape. They're still generating lots of electricity as well.
City water comes from a mixture of sources that I think includes the Colorado River. One wet year doesn't begin to solve the problems of places like Lake Mead. That system is the cause of more concern. Our "drought" is probably becoming the norm for the foreseeable future.
