I cam across this on my playlist. I've posted it here before. Wendy is out with friends and here by myself. These are times my thoughts turn to Nancy.
While I am incredibly happy with my life with Wendy, I still have Nancy in my heart. Wendy gets it and gives me room to process my loss.
Nancy was a unique and remarkable person. An empath not unlike Dar Bauman. And for Nancy everything mattered...which could make her difficult and uncompromising at times, but produced expressions of care and love for others that was extraordinary.
So yes, I am Missing Her.
(Love this guy! I think he still holds forth at Mannes in New York.)

Love you, Evan, and I love how you love. That might sound strange but it's true. I believe Nancy was an incredible person, and I am also glad Wendy is in your life. You are lucky to have been able to love two wonderful women in your life.

The materialist has only memories. Memories are great, but you have more.

Evan, I can't know how you feel but I have an inkling. A good friend lost his wife Jane several years ago. Wonderful woman. He now has a new lady who's also a wonderful woman but he thinks about Jane every day. He sounds very much the way you do.

For maybe obvious reasons, this thread brought this old pop tune to mind. John Waite had a hit with his song in the 1980s.
