I am leery of Indian food. Todd tells me I just haven’t had the right Indian food and I might like it if I did. I dunno. I've always been surprised by how many Indian dishes are super-rich, often very buttery, and I stay away from those. But I love pretty much anything that comes out of a tandoori oven.

I need to try some more Indian food. All I have tried so far are Tikka Masala and Tandori chicken. I liked both. Sultan's is on my list - thanks, Mike.
Baby shower today. My sons and I think the old-school tradition of women only was nice. I like the in-laws, so it will be fine.

We have quite a few Nepalese places in the Twin Cities. This is the menu from one near me, have not tried it yet. Momos are great. tasteofnepal.online/

One thing I have learned about Indian food is, if it looks there are fish eyes floating in the soup, they are real fish eyes. I do like most of the wild rice dishes. But, I tend to avoid the soup.

I am leery of Indian food. Todd tells me I just haven’t had the right Indian food and I might like it if I did. I dunno. with the Raj going on for so long, there is plenty of what might be considered Indian food which is actually a fusion between British and Indian. If you are new to Indian, you might want to start with that. An example of that is butter chicken, known by other names like tikka masala. Not exactly the same thing depending on where you to but close enough it'd be a good introduction Indian food of you're not used to it. Another delicious example might be mulligatawny soup. Indian food had also combined with Portuguese food, as they ruled many years on the western coast. Things on an Indian restaurant menu tagged "vindaloo" is an example of that.
