PS - She's kinda loose (lazy?) and off-pitch and off-tone on the high notes. She'd get dinged on The Voice for that. I noticed that about her eventually as well. In most cases it happens quickly and works within the context of the song. That may be maturity and not so much time yet at the craft. It may also be a result of laziness because her wheelhouse vocal tone and pitch is so good. I went ahead and downloaded her one full album. It's pretty good and is growing on me quickly. Quirky eclectic country ala Sturgill Simpson.

I wasn't referring to the acronym AF, I was referring to the subtle difference between y'all and all y'all. Shannon , could you help me out here? 😃 Well, down in these parts, "y'all" is properly used as a second person plural. We still use "you" for second person singular, despite the portrayals of southern hicks in TV and movies. I would never ask a patient "How are y'all feeling today?" but if a group was touring the clinic for some reason, I might ask "How are y'all doing this morning?" I've never used the combination "all y'all" in my life. Southern dialects can vary, though; sub-standard usages such as "all y'all" may be popular in Mississippi or Arkansas, for all I know.
Thank you, Shannon. My experience with the terms as I outlined them are mostly from friends in the Shenandoah Valley, in Virginia. I guess YMMV, truly.

Y'all will note, the singer is actually from WV.
So "country AF y'all" is her natural vernacular.

I have understood "all y'all" to be used to make sure everyone knew they were included in the conversation.
"OK, I need y'all to listen up. All y'all need to be paying attention."

Fight it off, Peter. Wrong thread. [Ok, the joke here was clear in my head, but a belated concern has risen that the imagined comment I posited Peter biting his tongue not to make was a little too open to interpretations I didn't intend. I thought my intention to be good, but sometimes my intentions go astray. So I will throw ambiguity aside and simply insert the comment I jokingly imagined Peter biting his tongue not to make.] Biden's latest Cabinet nomination?
