On this day:
1602 Cape Cod "discovered" by English navigator Bartholomew Gosnold
One of my favorite places in the world and dear to my heart. I am quite partial to Wellfleet.
Have a lovely day.

Good morning. My younger daughter will be leaving for the airport soon and will be at work by a little after 9:00. It was a great weekend with all our offspring assembled.
Today is my day to return to driving. The ninety-day ban I was under due to a seizure in February has expired.
Enjoy your day. We only get so many of them.

Kind of overcast and cool today. Hummingbirds have built a nest in the bush just outside the window. The eggs are so tiny it takes hundreds to make a decent omelet. Enjoy the day. I think I will go to Down Home Guitars and look around later. We’ll see how things go.

Good morning, all.
A pretty day here, but it is getting hot.

Very pretty spring morning here. Robins are worm hunting, dogs are being walked, school buses have made their rounds, a roofing crew is at work a few houses away. Another Chelsea morning, you might say.
I have my Colombian coffee at hand, have consumed the requisite yogurt and blueberries, and now it's on to eggs and Slotkowski's kielbasa, pride of Chicagoland.

When I was downsizing my business in 2007, I moved the office from downtown to the Jefferson Park area. On the train lines. Near the junction of expressways. That’s a historically Polish neighborhood. I used to go to a Polish deli to get a ham sandwich for lunch every so often. The woman that owned the place would see me come in and ask, in Polish, for a young girl to wait on me, because she was the only person in the place that could speak English.

Good morning.
46F-75F sunny.
It was a nice day yesterday, inside. The girls made us spinach quiche and sweet rolls. I made DaWife a mimosa, none for me as nice as that sounds. After brunch the girls and DaWife went to see the Mario Bros movie and I worked on that messed up bandsaw that I thought I had fixed. Simon and Riley were in kitty heaven as the girls held and petted them every minute they could. Those cats were raised with the girls before they came to live with us.

Gonna be hot for the foreseeable future. Still catching up after being gone for 9 days, but getting close. Found out from fellow choir members yesterday that some of them just got the latest COVID booster, so I'll try to track down where we can get it. Trying to find a time when our HOA finance committee can meet. There are only 3 of us, but between summer travel and other activities, it's not working out. Need to get that scheduled so I can schedule other things.

Morning. Another in a string of perfect days. Sunny as all get out with air sweetened by cherry blossoms. The expected high is 80. I have never had such happy young tomato plants. The best tomato May ever!

The local sort of newspaper, The Indianapolis Star, publishes a list of the day's birthdays. Am I the only one who let Wavy Gravy get to 87 years old without knowing he existed?

Morning all.
Renee, I just got my latest Covid booster last week. The rules have changed now, because the Covid emergency is officially over. You’ll need to call your insurance provider to see how to get it, or you’ll have to pay out of pocket for it.
I’m up. Drinking Coffee and Wordle is done. Heading off open a bit for labs at Kaiser, then hit up Costco and Trader Joe’s. Should be a bit cooler today, high of 88. Made Thai salad rolls for dinner last night, yummy and not heating the house too much by cooking, will have the same again for tonight.

Wavy Gravy was the toothless face of Woodstock. I don’t think he had any talent whatsoever, but he found his fame in the mud and bad acid trips.

It took another 36 years for my ancestor, Hugh Clark, to get there. Several other ancestors made it in 1620. Cape Cod girls they have no combs, Heave away, heave away, They comb their hair with codfish bones, And we’re bound for South Australia.
Heave away my bully, bully boys, Heave away, heave away, Heave away and don’t you make a noise, And we’re bound for South Australia.

He looked homeless before we knew what homeless was. He did not have dental expenses, so he saved money that way. I saw him once pictured in a Hawaiian shirt and not caked with mud. I barely recognized him.

Never heard of him.
It's cool and cloudy today, but not as cool as yesterday, which was downright chilly. It'll start warming up tomorrow and by Wednesday we'll have full sun.

Set up the air conditioners in the upstairs area yesterday. Though we have central air it does not cool the upstairs. The basement is like a fridge though.
Have a wonderful day.

Beautiful morning here. I loaded up the tractor this morning and it, and I am at my cabin.
I thought I'd look around a little, when I arrived at the cabin this morning, on the off chance that I'd find a morel. I found 8, all under a live maple tre, two are really large.
