Happy birthday, Kimberly Dalton!
Kimberly Dalton (left), has a birthday today. She is the business manager and sales rep for the Huss and Dalton Guitar Company, and an awesome human being. She doesn't frequent this forum, but I wanted to giver her a shoutout here, anyway, since this is supposed to be a guitar forum. The rest of the people in this photo (from left), Jeff Huss, Brian Dickel, Mark Dalton.
Wishing everyone a good day as we slide into the weekend.

If all goes as planned, I will be fixing my long-broken fence today. It's vinyl and almost a year ago someone backed into a corner post. It virtually exploded. We've had drift fence keeping IceSha in ever since. The repair is an aluminum insert -- set into what was left in the ground, and a new post sleeved over that. I hope it works.
Oh, and I'm off today. I got in my 60+ hours before Thursday.

uh-oh... dueling dailies. Rain in the morning, dried off later. I sometimes take some pics that (I think) are a little mondrian-like:

Happy birthday, John! Sorry, I didn’t see that Howard that started the daily when I started mine.

Happy birthday, John! Sorry, I didn’t see that Howard that started the daily when I started mine. That's what Mods are for. One of them merged both threads into one. See, they're not just pretty faces, they can do stuff.

I’m very capable of fouling up. I can’t figure out how to paste it but I got four on Wordle.

The exterior painting is supposed to start today but it looks like rain is coming so things may get delayed a few days. I don’t care. The end result will be the same. Enjoy the day and be careful with scissors.

Good morning.
44F-60F mostly sunny.
Granddaughter Zaria graduated middle school this year with honors. A year ago she was failing when she was allowed to go live with big sister Kaiah. We couldn't let her move until Kai became old enough to be her legal guardian. So since Kai is a vegan and Zar is not I got us some very nice steaks, made her a wonderful steak dinner and even got DQ afterwards. Kai is the go getter girl that graduated high school with two years of college credits at the same time. Needless to say she has been a very good influence on her little sister. Kai just became the head of her department at the MN Children's Museum and Zar works there part time also.
I'm off to my shop. It will probably be rather cool down there today so I'll turn the heater on.

Happy birthday, Kimberly Dalton! Kimberly Dalton (left),
Glad you pointed that out. With all this gender mumbo jumbo you can never be sure anymore.

I see Mike Dowling is playing a sold out house concert in Winona tonight and master class tomorrow. Apparently there are still some openings for the master class.

Up. Sunny. Low to mid 80s later. Bike ride this am, then lunch with a friend. Nita has had “stuff” for the last three nights so I’ve been on my own for dinner, just cleaning out the fridge of leftovers. But she is home tonight so I need to actually cook something. Uncertainty rules the day.

Good morning, all. Thunderstorms yesterday, probably more today.
Mostly anxious well patients so far today. Fridays are often like that.

Really chilly here this morning with a cold wind coming at us from Minnesota, hope the snow and ice up there melts soon.
Not much going on until this evening, then I plan to be at Todd's open mic from 6:00 to 9:00.

In Chicago for this guy’s graduation from Evanston High School Saturday. He’s headed to college this fall on a lacrosse scholarship. It’s a confusing game for the ignorant outsider but definitely violent.

I have the Mecum car auction on the telly, live from Indy, and today they will sell a legendary street racer, the Black Ghost, owned by a Detroit cop who dominated Woodward Avenue back in the day (circa 1970).
