We are on episode 9 & will do 10 either tonight or tomorrow. I won’t come back here because I don’t want to know anything beyond what I do.

I haven't started watching any of the series. I know it gets rave reviews. But everyone says you don't like any of the characters. And it's based on the Murdoch family, who I believe have ruined this country, so I have avoided it thus far.

The writer comments at the end of the credits are worth watching. Marshall it is definitely populated with disgusting people you love to hate and a look into a world foreign to probably all of us. That said, I think if we are honest with ourselves we may see some of the character’s more despicable traits in our own behavior and try harder to be “good” like Danny Noonan. I thought the writing, screenplay, and acting were first rate. Very dialogue driven and intense with an absence of true violence and fancy computer enhanced graphics. Also a testament to the fact that the F word’s power has been diminished to an emphatic “gosh darn”.

I liked it and, based on how the siblings got along throughout 4 years of the show, it worked. Everyone was treacherous and self-serving and would betray anyone else at the drop of a hat. Even goofy Greg. I was expecting the family to drop a few F bombs in the church at the funeral, but they exercised restraint and saved the F bombs for family members, as they should. It was hard to admire any characters in the show, but the actors were superb and the writing was top notch. I guess, if I had to choose, I liked Tom, Greg, and spooky, screwed up Roman the most. We both enjoyed the show and I am glad they brought it to logical ending rather than keeping it going and replaying the same conflicts with new situations.

I agree. The ending was perfect. In our resort community of Alexandria MN there is a pretty steady influx of private jets on summer weekends as there is some big money from elsewhere with fancy lake summer places around here. They usually turn final over our house when the wind is from the SE which is the prevailing direction in summer. I used to kind of think how cool it would be to occupy that rarified air. No more - well maybe just a little
