And Wynham Clark would fill the role of the up and coming guy you have never heard of and want to root for perfectly I bet he killed his mom just so he'd have the obligatory sob story for the play by play guys to talk about.

She died of breast cancer like my first wife. Not sure how he could have arranged that.

I felt bad for Fowler. 4’ puts killed him. He rimmed out a 40 footer on 18 3rd round. That would have been a bird and 2 up. Then he missed the 4’ come back. A 2 stroke swing there. Then he missed another 4 footer yesterday. That’s 3 strokes that co it I’d have gone the other way.
But Clark’s short game was spectacular. Saved his Fanny numerous times when he was in danger of putting up a big number.

I might have been making a jab at the death of TV sports by sob story and not the actual death of his mother, but you can never tell with me. I pretty thoughtless.

Actually the tear jerker scenario is seen everywhere on TV. Each contestant on whatever competition show you watch (The Voice, AGT, American Ninja Warrior, etc) has to have a heart felt tear jerker story to tell. If you haven't survived cancer, or nobody in your family died a tragic death, you better hire an assassin and get the job done quick, if you want to make the finals.

Clark proved he deserved the championship with some amazing saves under pressure on the back nine. He earned it that’s for sure.
I thought for sure at the turn it was McElroy’s and that Clark with his inexperience would crack.

COOKING SHOWS! Please stop crying; I don't want your tears in my meal.

It’s our recent ex-president’s favorite, he gives himself several on every hole. To be fair so did #42. Ike played by the rules

Golf is a challenging and interesting game. For me, the more I practiced and played it, the less I enjoyed it.
As for sports that I would enjoy participating in at this point in my life, I think it would be NASCAR

I used to both golf and bowl. Never got any good at either, with scores about 125 in each. I would say I was probably a slightly better bowler because I never lost a bowling ball.
