Yeah, they seem to think schools exposing their elementary school kids to porn is objectionable. And then they go and think that they should have more control of their kids than the people who run the schools that they pay.
Go figure. Right wing fascists!

Yeah, the gratuitous use of apostrophe's is more than I can suffer.

Moms for Liberty. The quote from Adolf Hitler on the cover of their June 2023 newsletter makes me feel REAL secure. Oh, yeah.
And talk about irony, Mister! The statement immediately beneath it.
Sorry, Mods. I couldn't stay silent on this one.

Right. But even I, a dumb old engineer, can read it as intended. It is a warning quote that the leftists are coming for your children, in the same manner as Hitler came after Jews and pretty much everybody. It's fairly irrelevant what we all think about it. We don't have to send our elementary school students to Florida schools. What the parents of those kids want done for their kids that they pay the school system for is entirely their business.

Using a quote from Hitler is pretty stupid no matter what the intent.

Since she's on the list for like six different books, I had a look, and at least from a distance, my reaction is "eh?". Maybe that it's fantasy, which, like harry potter, is perceived as anti-religious? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarah_J._Maas

Fantasy authors are noted for slipping "influencers" into their work using the fog of fantasy to mask their intent. Earlier this year, I read a fantasy series by a up and coming Canadian writer. Just another fantasy series I thought, until I caught myself on a store camera one day carrying out a couple cases of Molsons while wearing my Maple Leafs stocking cap."Who is that goofy-looking guy with the Maple Leafs cap and the two cases of Molsons?" I thought. Then it hit me.

Seeing as we have a fantasy author in house... What are you people up to?
