I dropped my OM last night and put a dent in the neck. I was able to steam some of it out but not all. It’s on the underside and my hand doesn’t touch it so I can live with it. It was an “oh shit” moment but every guitar I own has some dings, dangs, and dents in it. Things like that used to bother me. Now, I figure, life goes on. I have dings, dangs, and dents, too. It’s hard to get through life without them. I figure better to do a few myself by accident than to pay extra for someone to do it to a new guitar so it will look like they were done by accident. Think of how much money I saved! On older guitars I've owned (those with some serious mileage on them, usually by others since I'm still a relative babe in the woods), I've always appreciated those "mile markers" that accumulated over the years. They let my left hand know where I am on the neck. So maybe you posted a new mile marker.

I hate it when that happens Paleo. Hopefully you didn’t get rained on by mulberries. I am off to my monthly breakfast with George. He and I have had breakfast once a month at 218 Ever, since Kim passed away, and I think will probably keep it up forever. I did get rained on by mulberries. In some places the trail was covered with a layer of black (purple) berries that had fallen off the trees.. I've never seen so many mulberries.

I picked my first tomato of the season yesterday! A real tomato, not some dumb little shooter marble cherry or cocktail tomato the size of a ping pong ball, a real tennis ball-sized slicer. And it was so good! (it was a Rubee Dawn).
This was the earliest real tomato for me ever... by eight days. And it was not an outlier, a singular oddball to be followed by no other. I will be able to pick two more today and by early next week there will be a couple more... and by July's end, I will be in full harvest and awash in a sea of red.
Never, ever, have I had a tomato season even close to this one as regards earliness, fruit set, and plant health (and there are no other tomato regards to regard). The ticket was our historically warm and dry May. Warm is good, and, if you have a hose, so is dry (no disease worries).
(I start my plants inside under lights. This year I was able to start moving them out mid-May instead of end-May. Lovely Demeter did the rest.)

Damg. I really dislike having to navigate around Wordle. Maybe we could create a separate thread to post the wordle attempts. Would you like us to get off your lawn?😀

Active morning -- I'm yogurted, coffeed, pilled, carwashed, Walgreened and brunched, while Bloody Married, of course.
Now I'm enjoying the weekly "Saturday Cinema" on KSJN, a two-hour program hosted by Hollywood veteran Lynne Warfel, who really knows her cinematic stuff. This week's theme is "The Sixties," and it's remarkable how many amazing films (and scores) came out of that decade.

Think of how much money I saved! Same happened to me. I don’t notice the ding unless I look for it. But it is quite noticeable on a scan of the back of the neck. Doesn’t bother playing in the least, but will affect resale if it ever comes to that. (not in my lifetime.)

By the time it is sold, I will be just a memory. A very strong & important memory, but a memory none the less.

I would like to be first in line (after family) when the 1969-ish Gibson is leaving the nest. If I am still around, and still have a kidney to sell to afford it.

Clean it and rough it up a little. Fill with super glue and level it. What you do with it after that is up to you. I might hire you to do that but I am not doing it myself. That just keeps it from chipping and makes it so you can't really feel it. If left that way your hand will polish it over time.

Yesterday's attempt at billing went south. Darn clients and courts kept wanting my attention. So it was back to the office this a.m. for a while, then to the bark park with my dog and my son's dog - she came for a sleep over last night.
I might need to run to the store and get some rice and broccoli to accompany grilled salmon tonight.
