I’ve been on my bed for the hours, relaxing in a little bit texts. I’ve been re-organized my schedule. A lot of people arranged my schedule - my doctors or a different nurse appointment.
My tests labs & x-ray, pulmonologist, neurologist
Enjoy your days

It has been a busy day. I did get a zippy doo dah iPhone 14 ordered for my wife - an early birthday present. Her current phone needs to be recharged a couple times a day. The iPhone 14 has a feature I really like: satellite coverage, so if you have an emergency while you are out of cell range, you can still call for help. We have a lot of dead cell zones around here.

David, you might as well know, that satillite feature doesn’t work so good. I tried it with my iPhone 14, annoyed by Putin’s attacks on Ukraine, I tried to use our satellites to attack the Kremlin. It didn’t work. Apple says maybe in the next update, but I wouldn’t hold my breath. Mike

I had a iPhone 8 and the battery was dying so it was my turn for an upgrade. I could have had a 14 but just don't need the size or features so I got a SE. Same size as my 8 but just slightly upgraded, better battery, camera and all faster. It will do just fine.

I figure I can get the battery replaced at an Apple authorized repair shop.

What battery dependency is doing to the pottery world: Does this mean we should be smashing up our old pottery and selling the dust to Tesla? Asking for a friend.

Same size as my 8 but just slightly upgraded, better battery, camera and all faster. It will do just fine. As I mentioned, my iPhone 8’s battery is also declining. A couple of weeks ago I happened to look to see if any apps were being particularly hard on the battery. It turned out that the AARP app accounted for 60% of the battery drain. The odd thing is, I almost never open that app. It just sits there. I deleted it as soon as I saw that. My battery’s been much healthier since then. I have most of my apps set so they won’t run in the background. I thought I had the AARP app set that way too but I either missed doing that or it’s always keeping track of what I’m doing. Anyway, if I need access, the browser works just fine. My United Healthcare Plan F policy is AARP branded so I was keeping the AARP app. That turned out to be a poor choice.

AARP is insidious. I get at least 8 mailings a month from that org. Thanks for the tip Re the app.

What battery dependency is doing to the pottery world: Not being a potter, I don't understand the significance. Is this product required/essential for all pottery, some pottery, certain types of pottery? Is lithium carbonate something I sprinkle on my Wheaties so without it I won't eat Wheaties and thus not need a bowl?😉

Sometimes there are suitable substitutes or modifications. There will be certain unattainable glaze effects for some potters who depend upon them for a living. They'll find substitutes or work-arounds, or they'll otherwise change their pottery. There are no guarantees in this life. And even fewer for potters.
