This thread just got thawed out after eight months in the freezer. Like Todd, I make something akin to Tamarack's dish. I begin by making a quick sauce of onion, tomatoes and garlic. Today at lunch I then added a chopped-up link of Italian sausage and some leftover pasta. A couple of weeks back, I added slices of flank steak that had been pounded thin and then cooked quickly in a very hot skillet. I'm not sure you can screw this approach up.

Dinner —— Hot roasted chicken thighs, a med-size baked potato with chives, bacon, butter and carrots. Dessert - coffee ice cream with chocolate syrup. Burp!

It was a chef salad - meat, vegetables, eggs, avocado, cheese etc. Played……. I prepared the meal. I think it took me 20 minutes. Old wounds- old Bob ❤️🩹😉 I couldn’t eat the whole thing. But it was good.

We had shopping to do so we stopped by Vietnamese Star for dinner. Great eggrolls in the style done by Camdi back in The Podium Dinkytown days.

My wife just brought home a salt and pepper rotisserie chicken from a great local market. We have some organic brand of tater tots in the freezer and some asparagus to roast.

A very special spring, paleo, dinner tonight. A bird roasted over a fire (chicken on the grill), fresh asparagus, stinging nettles and best of all, morel mushrooms!!
