Mr Morgan’s Last Love (2013)
An absolute gem of a film, regardless of what Rotten Tomatoes says. This film has what so many films of today are lacking .... a heart and soul, voiced beautifully by Michael Caine. He struggles with the loss of his wife and like some other movies that have come before, we see that he wants to kill himself. But then he meets Pauline (portrayed beautifully by Clémence Poésy) on a bus one day. They become friends despite the huge age difference. I won't say any more about how the rest of the movie goes, but everything somehow works out as it should. This movie touched my heart at a time when I most needed to see that all was not lost in my own life and that if you're open to it, life just happens with some kind of flow. Everything almost always works out as it should. So, forget what the reviews say. If you like a good, heartfelt drama, settle in for a little while and watch this movie.

Thanks for the recommendation. I took a look at the trailer and it looks like my kind of movie.

I just watched this and I’m still thinking about it.
It’s a universal unique story about remembering your life, old friends and the relationships. And this young woman helped the old man and his son as well and also what’s going to happen ….it’s just the flow

Hey, Bob, what happened to your Yankees? 9 losses in a row and shut out by the red Sox. Did you see that game?

mr h - I'm a little confused about your "romance? yuck" humor or something?

mr h - I'm a little confused about your "romance? yuck" humor or something? Bob, Marshall was making a joke. Note the three emoji symbols winking and smiling. I’m confident that Marshall enjoys romance. He is probably thinking of our childhoods at the movies when we wanted more horseback chases and high noon shootouts and not so much kissing.
