WOW - glad to see these photos. It looks like you had a marvelous time.
I'll be interested to hear the technical details - hikes taken, lakes and glaciers visited, camera (phone) used, mic placement, etc.

Gorgeous images, Marshall -- such an amazing place. Did I see a hint of an actual glacier in a couple of those shots?

With a landscape and light like that, you barely need to frame your shots! Very gorgeous photos, Marshall.

We did make it up to Grinnell Glacier. Those are people on the rocks in the lower left That was a rugged hike for an old goat like me. 11 miles round trip and 2,045 ft elevation gain. It was really tough. Some of the other shots were along the trail up. The lady in the kayak on the lake was the bottom of the Grinnell trail near the lodge.

The distant shot was from the top of the Ski Slope at Big Mountain Ski resort in Whitefish, looking east towards Glacier. (We took the chair lift up ) These are all iPhone 14 shots. I use the iPhone native camera APP for editing. The 2nd photo is going overr the continental divide near Logan's Pass in the middle of the park. Those are cars winding around the mountain pass. The 2nd to last photo is a gag thing that Sue and her lady friends all have to do when traveling anywhere. They strike a pose on a rock.

Years ago, they renamed it to Whitefish Mountain Resort. Very near the top of my list for favorite place to ski in North America, if not at the top. Google "snow ghosts" to get an idea.

Spending the summer of 1977 in Glacier changed me for good. Nice photos of a magical place.

Those photos make me really miss Montana, which is where I grew up. There are other places in Montana that are equally gorgeous, just not so much of it in one place. I haven't been in the state for 8 years. First due to Mr. H and I taking turns with health problems, then moving, then COVID.

Not quite Iowa, but beautiful pictures.
Sometimes John Denver described things well. Wild Montana skies. What a great trip, Marshall.

Gorgeous pics.
It’s funny, we’ve never been down to that corner of the province, but been through the Rockies many times. It just keeps going on up north from there like that. Amazing country.

Don't know. Didn't see any locals up there. It was all tourists. The road leading up to the resort is Big Mountain Rd, so I just assumed.
