Wow, that was great! Thanks, LJ. They are all spot on and FAST. The fiddle player appears to be 12 years old, but plays like a demonic veteran. The mando and banjo licks are as fast as I have heard, yet melodic and in the pocket. Molly, is of course great, holding down vocals while strumming at speed.

They are fast and smooth as silk. What an amazing group of young musicians. That is from her newest CD.****It’s called City of Gold.
****Or whatever it is. Maybe it’s streaming, or beaming, or vinyl spinning, or Spotifying, Pandoraing or however young people listen to music these days.

From the, “I’m going to exhaust myself and everyone who’s listening,” school of bluegrass. The mandolin player looks like he’s passing a kidney stone during his first solo. But most excellent. I’m guessing her shot at pop music didn’t go as well as she’d hoped. Or maybe she’s doing both.

Or at least bluegrass and pop rocks (after the name of a Sirius XM channel).

I'm looking forward to seeing her play in Bath in January. This Rancid cover has some nifty strumming.

She has always been pretty eclectic and she is not above performing something she likes that isn’t Bluegrass, but she is deeply rooted in Bluegrass and has been all her life. I think she just loves music and she is a formidable talent. She is the real deal.

Yeah, I wudda enjoyed that tune way more if it were dialed back something like 15% in tempo. Just because you CAN play fast doesn't mean you SHOULD.

The one thing I neglected to mention is the song is about smuggling pot. Maybe theme influences tempo. This is her 2nd song about pot. Dooley’s Farm is the other one. Billy Strings could be a bigger influence on her than I thought.
