Nita’s damn cruise is the gift that keeps on giving, she just tested positive. Mike My wife was extremely sick after her cruise too. Coughing until her chest hurt. She tested negative for covid and refused to go see a doctor. It lasted about a week. Just another reason for me to avoid cruises. Best of luck to Nita for a quick recovery.

My Brother-in-law was confined to his room on a river cruise up the Hudson when he tested positive.
A good friend has been on two European cruises and caught COVID both times.
I'm just sayin'

Well, she is on the paxlovid, so we will see. And so far I don’t have symptoms.

That really stinks! I've never met Nita, but so feel very sorry for her.

I had it for the second time a couple of weeks ago. Not life-threatening for me, but not fun. I hope Nita is on the mend and feels better fast. I have the impression that a lot of people are thinking COVID is history, but it's still getting passed around. Take care.

My brother and sister in law go on a couple of cruises a year. They’ve gotten sick once. We’re doing a British Isles tour with Viking in the spring, so here’s hoping.

It’ll be mild, it’ll be bad, but it’s not going away.

I called my pharmacy last Monday and asked if they had gotten in the new Covid booster yet. "Yes, we have, and we only have one dose left".
"I'm coming right in. Hide it."
I zipped right over and presented myself at one of the windows, "Still have that Covid booster?"
"Yes. Take a seat and someone will be right with you."
After a brief wait, the shot-giver lady called me in to her office. I had just seen her for the RSV shot, so we chatted about stuff for a bit, and then she asked, which arm, and then poked me. In and out. Easy Peasy.
On my way out, I saw a friend and stopped and we chatted for a while. As we were chatting, the shot lady came running up to me. "I'm so glad you hadn't left. I gave you the wrong shot. I gave you the flu shot."
"Oh."
...A little earlier than I had planned, but no harm...
"Can I have the Covid shot now?"
So, I got both shots. Same day. Same arm. Not the plan, but no soreness, no problem. I'm just glad the wrong shot was the flu shot and not a blast of estrogen or monkey hormones.

I've had a Covid booster and the flu shot within seconds of each other twice. Both times I went home, ate supper then got up for work the next morning.

I'm a bit busy at the moment. Managed to squeeze in my estrogen and monkey hormone shots though. Also, annoyingly I bought five bunches of bananas and then left them in the nail bar.

Yes. If you know, you know. (As is said.)
