Sav Buist and the Accidentals. I stumbled across her on a facebook post and looked her up. I like her songs a lot.

I love the progression, the melody, the mix is wonderful. I love her voice, and how she shapes the words. I do think the lyrics are a touch too clever.
On another note, a stop action animation like that wouldn’t be that hard to do. Time consuming, but it would be fun.

I agree the lyrics are clever, but not as easy to follow.
Yeah I like the stop action video too. Simple but time consuming.
It is her voice and the simple but good guitar part I like. I think she’s one of the “teachers” for one of the Lamb’s Retreat Songwriting sessions up in Michigan next month. I went one year when Pierce Pettis was there. It’s fun but costs $650 and you write a song on a topic given to you.
All my songs are cheaper than that.

All my songs are cheaper than that. That belongs in a song.

All my [thongs] are cheaper than that. Now, that would be a million seller. I mean, as long you weren’t modelling…..

NASHVILLE — Sav Buist of The Accidentals likes to say that “songwriting is cheaper than therapy.”
So it’s particularly satisfying when she’s written a heartfelt song that really strikes a chord with listeners — and especially those seeking comfort.
And it’s beyond gratifying when that song, “The Line,” goes on to win the grand prize in the prestigious USA Songwriting Competition.
“It’s completely mind-blowing. I still haven’t really absorbed that that happened,” Buist said of her recent win in the 27th annual songwriting competition, not only snagging top honors in the folk category but taking home the overall grand prize worth $50,000 in cash, merchandise and services.
So there's always that.

I'm guessing she was strongly influenced by Indigo Girls, as I hear a lot of their melodies, harmonies and chord changes in this.
Very nice.
