Somewhere between intriguing and frightening.

I'll bet those wings hardly ever fall off mid flight.

The whole concept of flying is so amazing. Quite simple while everything is working right. But problems are disastrous. I'm constantly amazed that mankind has perfected air travel to the extent that we have. We all board airliners and think nothing of the magic that makes it all possible. And so seemingly safe and reliable. A friend of mine flies ultralights. Talk about scary !

I'm sure a prop driven car will have no problems on a narrow road and only sucking in the occasional small animal or cyclist. I presume the wing and tail get left at the airport so you can't land one place and take off from another. Sort of reminds me of the Reliant Robins.

Well, his estate was my client, as a result of his final flight.

Popular Science and other such magazines lied to us in the late 1950s when they told us that by 1970 we would all have flying cars in our driveways. Well guess what? My car doesn’t fly. Lousy Popular Science!

I flew my dirtbike on a number of occasions. Occasionally stuck the landings as well. Or I just stuck — being followed into the ground by 200+ pounds of motorcycle is an initiation on what it feels like to be a tent peg.

If that was an actual picture of the car in motion, those leaves would be flying violently around behind the vehicle. I wouldn't want to drive behind that thing.

I used to fly for real in my past life. I don’t mind going slow now.
