Good morning. There's a lot of chilly weather across the country. Here we'll see about 50-70. That's about normal.
We had our first orange from the tree in the backyard on Saturday. This year they're fairly large and fairly numerous. They're better than anything you can get at the grocery store.
This morning I'll belatedly get a flu shot and a Covid shot. There's a lot of crud going around.
Enjoy your day.

Up way too early. Stressing about our out door Xmas lights. We blew a couple GFCI outlets last night, one of which is hiding behind my wife’s shelving in her craft room and is virtually inacessable without moving a boatload of crap, and drilling a keyhole to gain access. I know, first world problems.
Coffee and Wordle and Xmas lights. Thats all folks.

Linda harvested a bunch of lemons from our lemon tree yesterday. We send boxes of lemons to family members every year. Way too many for just us.

It looks slightly less dreary today than yesterday. That’s an improvement, I suppose. Coffee is calling.

I'm editing recipes for kugel this morning, which has me craving noodles. Possible stroganoff expedition this evening.

Morning. Heavy rain last night on top of heavy snow the day before. Yuck.
Got the Fender Acoustasonic yesterday. Factory new in box, looks great. Action kinda high but playable. No flaws and quality woods. Plugged it in to my very nice Henriksen Bud acoustic amp and sounds like....mmmm....for lack of a better word let's go with ass. So my low expectations were met. I have 7 days to decided but I think I'll return it but feel sort of bad about that because I knew I probably wouldn't like it and it was a price slash impulse buy. They did their part in good faith. So I'm working thru that mentally right now. Maybe I'll wind up giving it to some kid or something.

I have two medical appointments this week and Mr. H has an eye injection that I have to take him to tomorrow. I don't think I have to go anywhere today, but we do need to brave the crowds at WalMart sometime soon.
Neighbor across the street has a grapefruit tree. Mr. H enjoys the grapefruit, but I don't much like grapefruit. We sometimes get lemons from other neighbors who just set them out in a box in front of their house. We have a tiny yard that's all gravel and concrete.

Giving it to someone who will give it a good home is always a good idea.

Good morning. Drinking store bought orange juice as I type this. We used to have an orange tree, but we cut it down to put in the pool. Nothing much going on today, sunny weather, low 70's, looks like a nice week weather wise here in Florida. Musically, I've been working on a new arrangement of the old Lovin' Spoonful song "Darling be Home Soon". I like what I've come up with, just have to practice it until I get it down. Have a great day everyone.

I hemmed and hawed about ordering an Enya X3 Pro Mini. There was a 20% off Black Friday deal on Amazon. I popped for it. And, as it turns out, I like it a lot. So, that's just the modern retail world. You can't find these things in brick and mortar stores. Keeps millring hopping. (Sorry, John).

I hear you but I'm more like Steve. I can only remember returning an item once in my life. That was a pair of pants from L. L. Bean when the inseam was an inch too long. I measured. Their fault.
My older daughter is the opposite. She'll order four tops, expecting to return at least three. If she didn't look like me I would doubt that I sired her.
