As Dan would say: "Have good ones."

Good morning. Today the Christmas lights will go up. I'll do the chore on a stepladder my wife will be holding.
Not much else in the way of news. Have a good day.

Good morning.
22F-43F cloudy.
Up way too early. I'm used to ignoring a cat complaining he wants out at the crack of dawn but two of them is much harder to do. So they are out and I'm up making coffee.
Today will be breakfast at Magnolia's and a little shopping. I need a GFI outlet for the laundry. The old one has been tripped too many times and is useless, it was also wired wrong by some dumbass. I have a standard outlet there now, wired properly, but also understand the need for the GFI, wired properly, so I will get that today. Our new washer and dryer are up and working.
Dinner last night was on Chef Shawn from next door, Pad Thai, very good.
Two doors down next to Shawn is Jose and family. Last Summer I gave Jose the BIG snow blower I had that the Doc does not want me pushing around, even though it is self propelled it is still hard work for this old guy. Well Jose now gladly does most of our side of the street, the guys 3 doors the other way have a snow blower so he stops there. It's going to be an easy Winter for DaWife not having to shovel walks or me getting a grandkid to come do it.
104 Days Until Spring.

Up, again too early. Raining like heck.A bunch of flooding on local roads, a few trees down, some stupid people trying to drive through standing water then needing rescue, and the coast is getting hammered. We’ve had close to five inches locally, in the past few days, with about nine inches in the beaches, and ten to thirteen in the coastal ranges. And more is forcast.
Still, the coffee machine has power, so there’s that.

Good morning. Sunny day today, predicted high is 61. Works for me. I have absolutely nothing planned for today, so I guess I'll have to improvise. Have a great day everyone.

I'm sitting at home in a Zoom meeting right now, but I had a great day yesterday. I had my second cataract surgery Monday and waking up Tuesday morning was a great surprise. Suddenly I can see everything. On top of that I played Santa at the Garrison library last night, followed by a soup supper put on by the library ladies, and it was a lot of fun. Today the sun is shining.

I know the feeling, VI. I still remember walking into the backyard the day after my first round of cataract surgery and being gobsmacked by what I could see.

Suddenly I can see everything. On top of that I played Santa at the Garrison library last night, followed by a soup supper put on by the library ladies, and it was a lot of fun. Today the sun is shining. The thing that struck me most was how vivid colors were again. White was much whiter, and blues were much bluer. I was singing the blues for years and never realizing I was pining for color. Temps to get into the mid 70's today so we're set to play 9 holes this afternoon.

You could comp over 12-bar blues. Or chank-a-chank with some polka of zydeco. Or some searing distortion-fueled solos over a rock anthem. Improvise.

A bit of office work then pick up the grandnugget for the afternoon baby watch. It is a nice weekly duty that my wife and I enjoy.

Big Christmas concert last night. Lot's of good food, one great casserole after another. And as Charlene is a vegetarian, I got her sloppy joe as well as the two I plucked for myself. I was well paid.
Next Christmas concert is tomorrow. And then one next Monday. And one more on Tuesday. Busy times.

Went to my jr hi grandson’s band concert last evening. No child should be allowed to play trombone.
I’m just sayin’
