Mathematical day, I guess.
Caught another coon in the trap. Let him/her ("they"? Ze?) go at the usual wooded spot.
Gunfire. Again.

Evan, you let go the opportunity to craft a Davy Crockett coonskin cap.
Getting cold in this here town. Currently 39°F.
Keep calm and stay warm. Unless you get angry. But stay warm.

Good morning. Evan, gunfire would rattle me too.
My computer decided to reboot during the night. I'd been sloppy and there were several unsaved documents open. Bye bye to all that. I can mostly reconstruct it but who wants to?
Except for such niggles all's well.

I hear the gunfire of hunters in the morning. Pheasant hunting, perhaps, and maybe deer. Usually right at sunrise and then it’s quiet. Cold here but moderate temps over the next few days. Looks like it will be a green Christmas, which is ok with me. The crew on the golf course was mowing tall grass around the ponds yesterday. Enjoy the day.

No gunfire this morning. Just coyotes. A bit of a cool down from the past few days. Only supposed to hit 71F. Doing some laundry before going to a medical appointment. Choir tonight, changed from the usual Thursday nights. We're having an extra rehearsal on Friday night, which is an extra long rehearsal with the (not a full) orchestra. Then cantata on Sunday morning. Good music, but all of this is reminding me of my time in the community chorus that took over my life.

Good morning.
23F-39F sunny.
A beard trim before I go out on errands today. Then I need to make some progress in the shop as the Holidays are killing my limited shop time.
97 Days Until Spring.
EDIT: Haven't heard gunfire here since it got slightly cold. That's a Summertime activity.

No gunfire in Newberg this morning. 49 degrees here. No rain, yay! Off to get my INR done in a bit. Then a quick stop at Freddies, then I’ll make up some brine for the four lbs of salmon I’m going to smoke tomorrow. When done I’ll vacuumed pack it and freeze and gift for Xmas. My Dads recipe is so good.
That’s all from here,

Good morning. Cloudy and Florida chilly today, low 70's. I've got the A/C guy coming this afternoon for the semiannual checkup and install an access port to help flush out the drainage line from the coils. Had a problem last month with the drainpipe clogging up and shutting down the unit.
Outside of that I've got a problem with Ticketmaster and my Lightning season ticket account which uses Ticketmaster. I changed internet providers a while back and no longer have access to my old email account. I need to use that account to change my email and log in pin but the only option to reset things is for them to send a reset pin to my old email account which I can't access. I called Ticketmaster and am now waiting for 24 to 48 hours (according to the rep I spoke with) for them to contact me to help with the reset. When I changed my email I failed to anticipate all the problems this would cause with access to all the stuff I do online. I've been through similar crap over other accounts. Thought I'd cleared it all up but........
Have a great day everyone.

Played a wine bar gig last night that went well. Second serious job since my wife’s stroke and my intrusive tinnitus. I actually enjoyed myself and felt some happiness for a couple of hours and that was great. I can feel a slow trend towards acceptance of our new normal but it’s a sawtooth curve.
Two months ago I was convinced I would never gig again or be able to continue lutherie so there has been definite progress. Give me another year and I think I will be back to my old self maybe better.

Glad to hear of this at least partial rebound. You are too creative to be constrained by health issues.

I like your news, Terry. It was good to read.
I haven't been around today. But I have been prepping for a colonoscopy tomorrow morning. Fun, no. But times have changed. No weird powder and three quarts of gatorade. One six ounce bottle mixed with enough water to make 16 ounces tonight, along with two 16 ounce glasses of water withing the hour and repeat starting at 5:00 am tomorrow morning. Very doable, from what I am experiencing. And no aftertaste. I remember a Gatorade aftertaste sticking with me for what seemed like two weeks last time I did this.

I was absolutely positive I was clean as a whistle. I even got complimented on my prep.
