Well, commenting might give answers away and I don’t want hints or comments that will do that. I want to get it or miss it on my own. Wordle comments should be off limits.

Boiled and in a heap, smelling faintly of mud, and a rusty red color against the rice! Mudbugs for everyone! All the toxic chemicals in the water killed any mudbug bacteria so they were as safe to eat as, say, fresh road kill. Deep River anything was like playing Hillbilly Roulette. You never knew what might hit you 4-5 hours after you ate it. If you made it 6 hours, you knew that cylinder had spun and the hammer hit an empty chamber. |

Not to give anything away too easily, but today's Wordle is also name of a small minnow found only in the Congolese River in eastern Burundi.

my comments…….. I don’t know this Wordle game - I don't read this New York Times newspaper - too expensive for me....... I do the game (SF Chron)- jumbled unscramble 5 words......then this 8 letter with the game "suitable" And another one - crossword   |

I play Wordle every day. I started challenging myself a few months ago to recall, before beginning a new puzzle, what the day was before. To this date I have never remembered the day before's work the next day.

Usually do tiles, sometimes letter boxed. |

Usually do tiles, sometimes letter boxed. I do AOL Just Words, USA Today crosswords and then poke around www.jetpunk.com to do some interesting quizzes. While Andy Griffith, The Beverly Hillbillies and Green Acres in on TV quietly in the background. That is my exciting lifestyle. |

Other than Wordle, the only puzzle or game I still do is Outspell, available on the AARP website and a few other places. It's basically Scrabble. games.aarp.org/games/outspell |

Fiddlerina has been doing Wordle. It’s rare for her to need more than three guesses.
Someone here, in think it was JohnB, got us started on the NYT SpellingBee thing. We always get a score of “Genius” so it must be way too easy.
