That’s an expensive pie. I can bake a pie in a bag for anyone who wants one for $29.99. There are restaurants in Traverse City that serve fish in a bag entrees. I guess a bag will hold anything you can fit in it.

I have never had one. I kind of don’t see the “a peel.” LOL! Scott has had pie(s) in a bag and loves them. I just asked him what makes them so special and his reply, “I don’t know I just think they’re really good.” So there you have it!

Or relatively small. Or not massive. I have purchased bagels, cream cheese, and nova lox from some honest-to-goodness NY delis via Goldbelly. It was expensive and yummy. Speaking of which, what am I?

I had a sandwich in a bag yesterday. A local chain called Baggin's serves them in a bag with a warm chocolate chip cookie even if you are eating in. All of their sandwiches that I have tried are quite tasty, but not cheap. And you can have it your way. Change the type of bread. Add or take off ingredients.

When I was working, I had a sandwich from a bag every day. Sometimes the same bag transported sandwiches multiple days.

All I had to do was grab it in the morning.

$69 and shipped frozen. That better be one heck of a good pie.

I have perused the Goldbelly site. The food is VERY expensive. I am too cheap to order from them. I’m getting takeout mex for lunch today. Under ten bucks and it comes in a bag. Eduardo’s taco shop.

Well, Goldbelly is not a place one shops for lunch. It's a place one shops for special things. I can get mediocre bagels and lox in a number of places around here. But if I want the good stuff, plus maybe some bialys, chocolate babka, maybe some black and white cookies, perhaps a special meal for a group, I can either go to NYC and get it myself or I can order from Goldbelly.
I know you retired folks are cheap, but it's not like it's a daily thing.

Those little Hostess cherry pies sort of come in a bag.

I don't know if it was from this place, but I got a Wisconsin made apple pie in a paper bag a couple years ago. I think I won it as a prize somewhere.
It was VERY GOOD !

Tastycakes from Philly are some of my favorite snacks. Apple pie, peanut butter Tandytakes, and chocolate cupcakes. Wow. I’ve got myself salivating.

The town we lived in in Wisconsin was called Mukwonago (muck-wanna-go). They still have an old farm store business called the "Elegant Farmer". It has developed a reputation for its baked goods. Especially the apple pie in a bag. Elegant Farmer in Mukwonago WII've purchased these pies in a bag a couple times. I didn't think they were that special. The paper bag didn't do so much for the filling inside than as to make the top crust "crustier"
