Don't blame her. That's right purty.

I forgot to mention that nowhere in her approval was any consideration of what the thing costs, just what it would look like in the house.

Yeah, it's pretty and probably sounds nice too.
I think I'd take a Fishman Loudbox Artist over the Taylor though.

I'll keep what I have. 25 years old and works perfectly. If I were to by a new amp it would probably be a Quilter MicroPro.

I won a loud box as a door prize at a guitar workshop. It’s the only one I use.

does the stool come with it? Yes, although I think they call it a stand. That's really the topper, what really sells the look to me. And it probably sounds pretty decent. For those times I want to just sit on the couch, with an acoustic, and plug in. Sadly, that does occur.

I have a like new Carvin 100D that I never use. Come and pick it up and it’s yours. Donations accepted, but not mandatory.

Funny Taylor would promote it as a vintage style amp (circa 74), but then use a Class D switching amp design and add bluetooth capability. Class D amps didn't become commercially viable until MOSFETs were developed in the late 70's and didn't show up in amps until the 80's.

I've owned or played most of them, but I haven't gassed for an acoustic amp since picking up both a Henriksen Bud 10 and a smaller 6 a few years back. The Bud 6 may well be pound for pound one of the best amps going. It's about the size of toaster and fills the room.
After hearing Taylors ES pick up system in a few guitars now I'll reserve judgement on their amp until I hear it.

Oh yeah, the Hendriksens have something special going on. Have you seen these custom collaborations with Humphrey amps?

The amp looks cool. The stand looks rickety to me. Taylor is entering the high end amplification world. And there's a lot of really good proven products out there.
