Good morning. Our rainy weather has petered out but it was very welcome while it lasted.
This morning at 5:30 I'll be driving a widower friend to the Mayo Clinic for a medical procedure. I'll pick him up when he's done, around mid-morning, and repeat all this tomorrow. He has an incurable form of cancer that can be managed. This procedure is part of the management.
Nothing else to report. Have a good day.

Rain, dense fog, 36°. It should make 40 today and they actually said 50s next week. Coffee time.

Flashback to my high school days and Mrs. Henderson's interesting French pronunciations. Which I assume were correct, but...? For those of you not "hip to the lingo," ChatGPT is the primary "face" of AI right now. All your hopes, dreams, fears and nightmares about artificial intelligence can be summed up with ChatGPT.

Good morning. Supposed to be a nice weather day. I've got an appointment with audiology at the VA this afternoon. I've already had a test from a civilian audiologist, she referred me to the VA. Apparently they will get me top of the line hearing aids but they need to do their own test. Works for me.
Have a great day folks.

Only thing holding this tune together is the piano and drums. Dylan's electric guitar playing sucks as does his harmonica. Vocals, well it's Dylan.

A disappointing dining experience at True Food Kitchen last night. Mr. H and I both chose the Smoked Gouda Turkey Burger: avocado, organic tomato, butter lettuce, jalapeño remoulade. No hint of jalapeño and no sign of avocado or cheese. His fingerling potatoes were bland. My veggies for an extra dollar were very nice. Butternut squash, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts in an orange glaze. Very slow service. We did have a group of 21 and the place was packed. It was an hour and 15 minutes before anybody at our 2 tables had food, so we were not about to send anything back or consider dessert. The company was good, but it was very loud.
Today the plumber is supposed to show up before noon. Had a plumber 3 years ago who sort of botched the 2 jobs that we had him do, the tub and the separate shower. We never use the tub, but I think I finally convinced Mr. H that one of us might need it sometime and the tub in the guest bathroom is too hard to get in and out of.
Tomorrow I have an early appointment at the retinal specialist, changed to 2 hours earlier than originally scheduled. So if I don't get an eye injection, we'll go out to breakfast afterwards and then do some shopping. If I do get an injection, Mr. H will cautiously drive us home.

Good morning.
30F-36F cloudy
Got lots of shop time in yesterday and I probably will today too. Although I also depleted my megger bank account by ordering a lot of shop supplies. Takes money to make money.
While shopping on Sunday I noticed a "Managers Special" on some 8oz ribeye steaks, 2 for $13 which is not quite half the counter price. I made a good choice and we had them with salad, they were fabulous.

Cosmic Wonder suspects brain fog is keeping Marty from recognizing the genius that is Bob Dylan.
Raining here. Highs approaching 50° today. It could be worse. Not much on tap for today. Laundry, clean house. That’s about it.

It looks like our rain is about over for the day. It's about 33 degrees out and I just saw a county truck (plow) go by with his blade up, that should mean there's no ice on the road. Maybe I'll venture out this afternoon, I'm sure there are things at Theisens that I need.

Wet but mild week predicted for our NW weather. That is fine with me. I am not anxious to try out the generator that is to be delivered Saturday. Wordle 949 3/6

John, that is just wonderful. I laugh every time I read it and laugh afterwards just thinking about it. Thank you.

Dylan's music is like scotch whiskey. You either develop a taste for it or you don't.
