Two for Tuesday. It's a Steve Earle kind of morning here.
Savor that cup of coffee and have a good day.

Good morning. Steve Earle is good.
It should be mild and pleasant here today. My wife and I will be visiting Boyce-Thompson Arboretum, about an hour's drive to the east. We'll walk around and look at plants and rocks.
Have a good day.

Good morning. Sunny and chilly here, gonna be that way all week. My knee is driving me crazy. I got tripped up on the way into the Lightning game last Saturday and had a fall on the pavement. Fortunately, no real damage except for a skinned knee which at random intervals flares up in hot electric/fire feeling waves of pain which last for varying periods of time. Didn't get a minute of sleep last night. Hopefully the healing process will speed up.....
Anyway, enough whining. I've got finances to review and stringed instruments to play. Have a great day folks.

Good morning.
33F-42F mostly cloudy.
Buddy Milo dropping by today to beg fish glue from me. Doesn't matter as the available sized bottle is too large and will go bad long before I can use it up. I like Fish glue but it has a terrible shelf life and must be kept in the fridge except for the small bottle I use in the shop. I'll let Milo have about half of what I've got. He uses it for violin repair and building diorama scenes, Mod Podge substitute.

Love that Steve Earle album.
The old new ES 135 plays and sounds really good. Kinda thumpy and dry sounding with a little less sustain. Tons of useable range in the volume pots from acoustic-y to ripping blues. Nice guitar.
Hike later. Still warm here.

I love Washington Square Serenade is my SE fav.
Well, Christmas is officially totally over. Yesterday I took down the outdoor lights. This morning I bundled up said lights into shopping bags marked "Pergoloa", "Maple tree", "Kitchen window tree", 'Front door", "little outdoor Xmas tree", and such. And packed them all away in the basement until next holiday season.

Nice day yesterday, high of 65f. I even got out for a short motorcycle ride after work. Then I put it on Craigslist for sale. It is a good time to sell this bike because a motorcycle celebrity, "Itchy Boots," is traveling the world on the same model.
I will replace it with a similar bike but with a lower seat height.
Taking a co-worker out for her birthday lunch today.

Keeping the polepieces down and the coils up as much as possible helps keep that fat P90 sound.

Morning.
That warm breeze off the ocean will put us in the 40s again today (and close to 50, maybe, tomorrow). Pretty easy winter.

It is a very nice little bike. I thought that I would become accustomed to the seat height, just over 35 inches, but I have not. Given that I rarely ride faster than 50 mph, and not much longer than a couple hours at a time, I don't need the little windscreen/fairing and relatively large fuel tank. I am more into backroads and trails. Honda is supposed to start bringing in a shorter version, the CRF300LS, that I am waiting for:

Washed the car as it was 50 degrees. Automated car wash of course. As usual the guy ahead of me got the super deluxe which from the amount of time he was in there must have included a repaint and dent removal as well as the all important “clear coat”.

Now imaging a half dozen cars in front of you in line. That's why I didn't get the truck washed today. Plus the fact that if your bladder goes into emergency mode half way through the wait you damn well better have a big bottle with you.
