Jesus cooked wild-caught fish for his disciples for breakfast on the shores of Galilee. So, yeah. Years ago I had a fabulous fish breakfast at Brennan's in New Orleans with my uncle. I once had Breakfast at Brennan's in the courtyard -- Eggs Sardou, OMG delicious.
My coronary arteries are collecting plaque just looking at this photo, Bill. Your arteries must be Teflon® lined.

The spinach and artichoke heart cancel out the sauce, so it's golden.

The name of the egg-a-muffin dish above triggered my synapses into remembering this prehistoric bath oil product. Anyone remember this stuff besides me?
It was advertised aggressively during the soap operas my grandmother used to watch. Ya just can't beat that "lipodermic action."

Had a big day yesterday (and the night before). Yesterday was a memorial service for a 70 yo female friend who died of metastatic breast cancer. It was really rugged on her the last couple years. Sue and I went to see her in the hospital on Christmas Day. I brought a guitar. She always said I was her favorite singer in the whole world (after James Taylor). She slept most the time we were there, but when she woke up, her hubby said, "the Hjertstedts are here and Marshall brought a guitar." She smiled and made a circular motion with her finger, which meant she wanted "Merry-go-round." Which I played. I held it together pretty well, except when I looked in the corner, and her daughter was balling her eyes out. But I got through it. Then she asked if I'd sing it at her funeral service. - She died a week later. So, I did yesterday. Very emotional day. The church was packed. Standing room only. I told the hospital story before playing the song. I'm pretty mechanical when performing, but telling the story broke me apart. Also retired pastor and good friend, Steve Pierce did the homily. And he knocked it out of the park. Very emotional day. Plus other friends were in from out of town for the memorial service. We went out to dinner the night before with them and hubby, and I drove them to the airport after the service. Then I crashed and slept last evening. But today is another day. Tough but emotional day.
