Good morning. It will be mild and pleasant here.
This morning I'll visit the eye doc. Since my cataract surgery, a little over a year ago, my vision has shifted a bit and I need new glasses.
Enjoy your day.

Working from home today and got two loads of laundry in downstairs. We have a new app-driven system in our laundry room and I don't like it much. If the Russians take out our comm satellites I'll have to wash my clothes in the bathtub.
More coffee could be in order.
Wakey wakey.

Good morning. Cloudy day here before the front moves through this weekend. I've got some errands to run and guitars to play. Be well, be happy.

Cloudy, temperature around freezing, crusty snow surrounding us after yesterday's storm. I prefer seeing snow cover versus dead grass and fallow flowerbeds.
Muddling about, working on another shelf, and shipping off some eBay sales. Some people really get into buying and selling on eBay. I'm not one of them.

We're supposed to get some snow today. Probably only an inch or so.
Now that the February 15 deadline has passed (for those of us who file returns for fiscal year corporate entities), time to focus on year-end. I've got a nice juicy set of spreadsheets to rework for this year, so it should be an enjoyable day.

Good morning
10F-19F mostly sunny.
Cold today but it will get steadily warmer over the weekend.
I have a new computer desk coming soon. An L shaped 47" to replace my badly cramped straight 36". Lots of shelves above and below so I'll have my printer, scale and NES Switch at hand plus all my reference books. Along with it will be a 24" smart tv that will replace the 15" monitor and 19" tv. I'll be able to switch between computer, game and tv by remote.
I have an INR at 10am and then back home to work.
32 Days Until Spring.

We had a dusting of snow overnight, the driveway is white, but it wasn't enough to make the lawn white.
Time to get going on taxes. I started gathering and sorting information yesterday and I'll continue today, taxes should be fairly straightforward and easy this year.

Morning, up and already failed at Wordle. In somewhat good news, Nita did our taxes yesterday, and because we converted some tradtional IIRAs to Roths, and paid the taxes on them we are getting a pretty healthy refund. The bad news is Nita wonβt let me spend it on a new guitar. She keeps blathering on about having to pay our bills. Hmph!
Nothing much going on today. Itβs cold out for here, in the upper 30s, streets are damp, not raining for now.

Morning. Light but steady snow overnight so weβve had maybe 6β of accumulation in 24 hours. Weβll start getting ready for our AZ road trip this weekend.

We had our first good-sized snow yesterday. So yesterday was the first time this season that I fired up the snowblower. The engine ran great, but .. there's a broken fitting on the drive cable and it will only move in reverse. If it was stuck going forward I'd still be able to clear snow with it, at whatever speed it was stuck on. But reverse doesn't do me any good. Guess what I'll be working on today.

Morning.
Tough day yesterday. I had to go to four different stores just to save $5 on a couple boxes of Valentine's chocolates. But, having worked for them, eating them will be an extra special pleasure.
Other than that, I'm planning tonight's menu. Charlene is off with her Secret Society buddies (a subset of a subset of the Quilters' Guild). So, it will just be me, Casper, the cat, and Netflix tonight. So, to the evening menu I go. So far, the choices are between pizza, pizza, and pizza. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

I do think including Croc with the other three was a bit of a cheat, as it is a brand while the others are general classifications, but I gave up and went it as my other options (better) had dwindled.

Alert readers will recall that last Saturday Mr. Hanesworth and I reported on the return of walleye to Culver's. Left unreported by me was that the Culver's I frequent told me that day that they would be closing for five days for interior renovation.
Lemme tell ya, guess I picked the wrong week to give up heroin! But they appear to be open today, so I'll be racing over there this afternoon when my half-shift ends. Whew!

My 10-year-old dog was whining most of the morning. I think it is hips and/or back issues. We'll see the vet this afternoon. Wordle 972 X/6

Just got word my brother-in-law died suddenly today. He was my oldest sisterβs husband. Tom is the guy who gave me my 1st guitar. It was just an old Harmony archtop, but I would not have had one had he not given it to me. It got me through about 3 years before I was able to save up for something else. That old guitar isnβt much to look at, but I still have it I am happy to say. We are out of town so we are heading home in the morning. Sad day, but think that old Harmony is going to mean even more to me now.
