Enjoy this day.

"The name Friday comes from the Old English frīġedæġ, meaning the 'day of Frig', a result of an old convention associating the Nordic goddess Frigg with the Roman goddess Venus, with whom the day is associated in many cultures. The same holds for Frīatag in Old High German, Freitag in Modern German, and vrijdag in Dutch." Wikipedia.
Good morning. Happy March. I have several small tasks on today's agenda, including coffee in the backyard this afternoon with a friend. All's well.

The "Day of Frig" has a hedonistic, bacchanalian, and orgiastic connotation for me.

Are you sure you're not thinking of the Day of Frigging?

Headed to the camp on this cold rainy morning. Hope we don't get stuck on the Forest Service road!
Wendy gets so blissfully happy every time we're headed there. Fun to be around her.

So far, it’s sunny but it’s supposed to friggin’ rain. Stay above water.

Good morning. Cloudy and overcast here. I've got bills to pay and some errands to run. So what else is new?

Good morning.
35F-55F sunny.
Good day to run errands. Finished the Yamaha yesterday but will check it over closely to make sure I'm happy with all the work. Things can change after being strung up overnight and may need a little tweaking.
Today Tyler will learn how to fit a nut, not just glue one in place, but "fit" it so glue is not really needed.
18 Days Until Spring. For many of you Spring has Sprung but we are not really there yet and can get Winter weather even into April.

Sunny, chilly wind. Granddaughters will be invading for afternoon and evening. Packing and shipping the last eBay sale and taking a nap first.

Up. As are the winds in the desert. Blowing sand and dust. I washed the truck yesterday and it’s already coated with dust. I think they may have closed a road or two in Palm Springs due to visibility issues. When there is no wind and it’s clear the desert is beautiful, but when it blows…
Had a great dinner out last night at Puebla Viejo Grill. We split a comb fajitas plate, with shrimp, chicken and steak. With a Mango Margarita. It was fab.
Need to wash my Moms old Mercedes this morning. Trying to get it ready to sell. It’s not worth all that much and it needs more repairs than I’m willing to put into it.
Might pop over to Costco this am and peck up a rotisserie chicken for dinner tonight. That’s it from So Cal.

The Mar. 7th gig is fast approaching and we haven't played a gig since last year. So today I need to start playing through all 38 songs on our current setlist (3 sets of around 12 songs per set). Eric and I will do it again through the sound system on Sunday. And then I'll do it again at least one more time next week. It is this part of my preparation process which leads me to do only paying gigs.

Good morning, all!
It is rainy and a bit cold here. The forecasters say it will be rainy to some degree for the next week around here. I don't care, but it will be Spring Break for Auburn University. I suspect the students will be looking for sunnier locales.

Raining here and is predicted to continue to rain for the next week or so. It sounds like the Sierra Nevada area is in for some huge snowstorms. Mike is lucky to have made it past Shasta before the storm hit.
My back is telling me that I overdone it on the heavy moving and cleaning the last few days. But that is all done now.

We split a comb fajitas plate, with shrimp, chicken and steak. Hope there was no hair in the comb. That would be gross.

Things are normal here. Normal is good. The drywall guy finished up at 5:20 PM yesterday. I was already making my sandwich for an early dinner so I could go to choir practice. This guy doesn't charge enough. He put in about 20 hours of work plus the time it took to get supplies plus the cost of the supplies and only charged us $1,600. He has all of the right equipment. Every area that he repaired looks like nothing ever happened. Next week we'll do the priming and painting ourselves.
After 3 days in a row of getting up early, today we slept until 7:30 AM. Had turkey omelets and biscuits. I did the monthly review of our finances. Now it's warm enough in the garage to put things back in order so we can pull the pickup back inside. And there are things to put back in order in the house.

Yikers! The wind! Forcast for Sat. 99 mph winds on the 10 in the Cajone pass. That’s the major freeway that leads from the Coachella valley to Los Angeles. Shouldn’t be as bad here in Palm Desert but jeeze Louise.
Oh, and Bill, that should have read “combo”.
