Good morning. We'll have about 50-70F and sunshine. This afternoon, I'll have coffee with a friend at a coffee shop that isn't Starbucks. I have nothing against Starbucks but they're all the same. A little variety is a good thing.
Sheer dumb luck carried the day in Wordle.

Expecting 74°F. Exposed to strep via a grandson. Waiting to see how that plays out.
Edit: I think I dodged it.

Like yesterday, only warmer.
Good day to be outside, demands of house and home will keep me mostly inside. Afternoon coffee on the back porch, maybe a bike ride around the neighborhood.

Good morning. Overcast and cool this morning. I've got a doctor appointment this afternoon and some loose ends to tie up before we go to Houston on Thursday for our nieces wedding and time with the extended family. Got that pre trip jitters feeling in my gut.......and it's three days before we leave. Have a great day folks.

Good morning. There must have been a little sprinkle overnight, the driveway was wet this morning. Forecast is for a chance of rain all day. We need rain, so I won't complain, I'll just do "inside" stuff.

Good morning.
31F-45F cloudy.
Probably have to run an errand or two today. Not sure if there will be any shop time.
Owner of the Yamaha says it's his new favorite guitar.
15 Days Until Spring. Simon and Riley are pretty certain it's here already, I say "Wait for it".

Morning.
Fish, trombone, then up to Warren to work on the musical, including some one on one time teaching King Triton how to act like a King!

Mama and Papa and new baby came home from the hospital yesterday, so after a couple days with Grandma and Grandpa, little Max is bouncing all over the house with even more energy.

We'll be spending the day at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, which is not a museum, but a zoo. We haven't been there in over 40 years. Plans to spend a few days in Bisbee were put on hold due to the fire that shut down their Main Street, so I'm finding local outdoor things to do while the weather is good. Expected high of 70 today. It will be a bit cooler at the slightly higher elevation where the zoo is. We may visit Mission San Xavier del Bac next week. I don't think I've ever been there, but have driven by.
We got started on painting over the drywall repairs, only to find that the can of semi-gloss paint labeled "kitchen" that was here when we moved in needs to be gloss for some areas. At least we know the color.

Renee, those are two good places to visit. I recall wearing myself out at the Desert Museum. You don't have to walk a lot but we always did.

We love the Desert Museum. My sister lives a few miles from there. Get in close for the raptor feeding demo; they'll fly just over your head so you feel the wind.

Good morning all.
This is Spring Break week on campus, but I will likely remain pretty busy. Locally, a lot of rain is expected this week, and it is cloudy and dreary outside today.
On the plus side, I am expecting the delivery of my new (to me) camera, a very lightly used Canon Eos 80D. I traded my recently-acquired Canon EOS R50. It was a slick little mirrorless camera, but was just too small to be comfortable in my hands. I kept pressing buttons I didn't intent to press. The 80D will be a bit heavier, but should fit my hands much better. If only it would also give me more talent for photography!

Morning, I’m up. Slept in late this morning, unusual for me, but I’ll take it. Lucky third guess on Wordle today, utterly failed at connections yesterday. Messed about with the Mercedes hood latch yesterday with hopes I could message it into doing its thing, but no go. So the part needs to be replaced. I’ll call around and see how much that costs before decididing to sell as is or repair. Swept out the garage yesterday, and you’ll be happy to know, there is no sand shortage in the desert. Jeeze, sand everywhere, but it’s better now. You can an at least walk through without tracking more sand everywhere.
It’s going to be 74 here today. Bike ride or pool? Decisions decisions.

Eric and I practiced yesterday, but I couldn't even use my resonator. It had some rattles and buzzes prior, but when I plugged it in, it snap crackled and popped. It didn't seem like the pots were noisy and cable connector contact seems fine. Couldn't figure it out, so I ended up using my older national. Today I removed the strings and tailpiece and put some black tape under the edged the tailpiece meets the cover. Added a little torque to all the screws on the cover plate, and tightened the knob screws on vol. and tone controls. All back together and now I have no issues plugged in or otherwise. But I didn't really do anything electrical so I am still worried this will crop up again but at the gig where I won't have a backup instrument. I still don't know where that noise was coming from. I may throw my other national into the car for the gig just in case.

Drizzly weather but we are supposed to have four rainless days starting tomorrow. The ground is saturated and we feared that our once-annual backyard lake was going to form. But the drainage is working.
Still organizing my home office but it is fully functional.

Yes, I have learned that trick. It is hard for me to do. There are always a couple of mediocre shots, slightly out of focus, poorly composed, etc., that I can't resist showing while apologizing for their defects.
