Thinking of finding me some Scrapple tomorrow. Fine breakfast meat for those of us that grew up near Philly. I used to make scrapple. I’ll have to do that again. Mine was basically Jimmy Dean’s pork sausage and corn meal mush. I’d put it in an empty half gallon milk carton to set and stick it in the fridge. To serve, I’d just cut slices right through the carton, fry ‘em up and add pure maple syrup. Mmmmmm.

Dar bought a dozen eggs. So far 5 out of 7 of them have been double yolks.

Good morning. I made scrapple a few times about the way that Dub did. It was pretty good.
This morning I'm off to the Verde Valley for an overnight trip. There are a couple of very pretty streams in the area I'll visit. I'll do some photography and mild hiking. It'll be about 30-70. I've been trying to make this trip for three weeks but high winds kept nixing it.
Enjoy your day.

Good morning. Overcast today, supposed to rain tonight. I've got another day of trip preps. I've got most done but there's that nagging feeling. Oh well, have a great day.

Good morning
24F-47F mostly cloudy.
Up early so I'll get down to the shop early. Working on a little Harmony/Stella rebuild that's already sold. It had a tailpiece and movable bridge but I'll make a fixed pin bridge for it today. The fingerboard was stained maple and I think I'll make a maple bridge and stain it the same color.

Busy day yesterday, today, and for several tomorrows. Big storms rolled through overnight with rain, hail, and wind. It seems calm now. I can’t recall if I have had scrapple or not. Seems to me it is possible. Follow up news!! I contacted Sweetwater about the defective reverb pedal. They said they would send another. It is to arrive today. I asked about returning the defective pedal and they said they didn’t want it back and that I should keep it or toss it. That seems to be the trend when you get something defective. They give you another but don’t want to have to bother with the bad one. A couple neighbors have had the same experience with electronic items in the $120-200 range. The defective item is usually fixable, too. Of course, I understand that by the time Sweetwater pays the postage to get it back and has one of their gear guys spend an hour fixing it, they will have more money into it than it is worth to them and what do they do with it? They will get their credit from the manufacturer without having to deal with the item and they couldn’t sell it as new at that point. So they write it off and make the customer happy. And I get an extra bag of candy!

Good morning! A couple more cups of coffee and I'll be ready to roll. Roll to the pharmacy, the gas station and an ATM.
Looking forward to music practice at Phil's this afternoon, we're working on a new 3hr set list for our upcoming gigs. It's nice to switch between guitar and bass, saves some wear and tear on the fingers.

And I get an extra bag of candy! That happened to us with end tables that we bought from Wayfair. The first table was defective and couldn't be assembled, so they said keep it and sent me another one (which also couldn't be assembled as delivered). But I could fix them both, so I ended up with a matching pair of end tables. I had to drill some new holes in one, and buy some new screws for the other.

Good morning, all!
Rain and more rain on the way. They say we could get a couple of inches or more by tomorrow morning.
Otherwise, things are fine.

Dar bought a dozen eggs. So far 5 out of 7 of them have been double yolks. That’s very odd. We just went through seven double yolked eggs in a single carton this last week. And that after not seeing a double yolked egg for decades. What are they feeding these chickens? Are yours from Cedar Ridge?

Mourning doves are at it again. 3rd year in a row a couple builds a nest in the pergola outside our front window. Seems pretty early. Last couple years the egg never makes it. A squirrel or something knocks the egg out of the nest and I find it broken on the ground. We'll see how successful they are this year.
Good luck.

Singer John Gorka describes scrapple as being somewhat like Spam, but without the health benefits.

I have a dog who has made a comfortable little nest for herself with my blanket. Too cute to make her get down so that I can straighten things up.
Coffee, office work, and errands on tap.

The temp here is mid 70s°. Perfect weather for a bike ride or a swim. I think I’m going to take a nap.

Are yours from Cedar Ridge? I don't know where they came from, but Dar's kinda picky about the eggs she buys. She only buys eggs from chickens who have advanced titles in chicken agility. Yes, that's a thing. I wouldn't just make stuff up.

I don't really have anything to say except that people who live in the desert year round would never say that mid 70s is perfect weather for a swim.
