... on this anniversary of their birth dates. R.I.P., guys, you are missed.
Doug's last post was in March of 2018, Don's in December of 2021.

I will alway cherish memories of watching crowd reaction to Doug’s performance at IJam.

The fact that the two of them shared a birthday should put the reliance on astrology to rest. Forever.

Two historic stalwarts of our community, that's for sure. They are certainly missed.

The best immortality is in the hearts and minds of the ones we leave behind.

I never got to meet Don in person, but he was a class act.
I did get to meet Doug, at David’s house, and get to hear his “Little Bitty ….” Doug was a trip. Miss them both

The fact that the two of them shared a birthday should put the reliance on astrology to rest. Forever. How could you doubt a system founded on the idea that the sun revolves around the earth?

I was lucky enough to meet both of them as well. Don was such a kind man, and an excellent player. Doug was a character, with strong opinions from which he never wavered. And a heck of a lot of fun. RIP gents.

I would bet that Don is busy helping someone somehow, and Doug is finding a way to stir the pot. Don was just too, too nice and made me feel like I was an uncaring oblivion. Doug will always be remembered by me for "Daddy was a deep sea diver" in the back room of the Ozone. There were some locals who were playing cards and one of them was so put out by the song that I thought he was going to go up there several times.
Both were unique and I was glad to have met them both.

Two great guys. Every time I see a garden gnome I think of Doug. Ha ha. That made me chuckle. Otherwise I’m speechless. **sigh**
