Good morning, folks. We had a surprise thunderstorm last night that wasn't in any weather forecasts we'd seen. It will be mild and sunny here. The daughter who's expecting will visit this afternoon with her husband and in-laws. I suspect they'll want to sit outside. We're temporarily without any shade at 2:00 PM so I think I'll tell them to bring hats. This is the creek where I spent most of my time on this week's outing. A few trees are just starting to leaf out. Keep on the sunny side. Wordle 994 3/6* ⬜🟩⬜🟨🟨 ⬜🟩🟨🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩

At my daughter and SIL'S, in Wisconsin, drinking coffee while looking out over Bass Lake.
We'll be heading out soon for the St Patrick's day parade in Milwaukee. It's gonna be cool, but the rain has stopped and the sun is shining.
Birthday dinner tonight for both grandson's, they'll choose the restaurant.

Good morning.
21F-40F mostly sunny.
Saturday shop and people will be picking up guitars this morning. Both repairs and one of my restorations. The guitars I pick for the next round of restoration are a Alvarez classical, Paracho long scale classical (baritone) and a Recording King 000-12 fret slot head.
This afternoon I think a trip to the hardware store.

Good morning. Wedding day for our niece in Houston. Had dinner with my brothers family last night and then hung out with the rest of the family in the hotel bar. Good stuff, haven't seen most of these folks in years, some 20+ years.
Going to pass time until 3 when it will be time to head out for the ceremony and party
Have a great day folks.

Cloudy and chilly. Typical March weather.
Laundry and minor workshop stuff. Anniversary dinner at an excellent Indian restaurant.

Tax and finance calculations today. Prepping the return info for my accountant (BFF from high school and constant guitar partner) and figuring out how broke we will be when I am fully retired.

Morning. Sunny and cool out, heading to around 80°. The truck is at Ford, I won’t hear the bad news until sometime on Monday. I just hope they have the parts to fix it without a long delay. The Mercedes goes to the shop on Tuesday so they can scope out the hood not latching properly, we will see what happens with that. Need to get a few groceries this am, the Vespa will do.

Today I start my first batch of tomatoes.
Tonight I go up to the Englestad Arena in TRF and root for the Ponies against the number one seed Red Lake County Rebels.
Then I rest.

Back from errands, passed Ace Hardware and be advised they have a large supply of ice melt on outdoor pallets, still only $12.95 a bag. A Hyundai Santa Cruz was behind me and there were eight, EIGHT running lights/headlights shining brightly. Coffee poured, time to settle in and watch the Max VerStappen Show, I guess.

The girls are watching. Regarding your post, Hope says, ruefully, "He's so right."

Going out to breakfast with youngest son today, then a trip to the dog park. Hopefully, we can catch a rain-free patch of time.

How about that Ollie Bearman though?

How about that Ollie Bearman though? Unbelievable. An 18-year-old Brit was asked to fill in for a Ferrari driver who had his appendix yanked yesterday. In his first-ever F1 drive the kid finished seventh.

Well in digging through the guitar archive I pick a Alvarez classical, a Recording King RD-06 and a Recording King ROS-06. All need bridge work.

The count is over and I'm waiting for the results. I'm inclined to say that, though most carriers felt that the parcel count was smaller throughout the count, it didn't seem excessively so to the point of feeling as though the "conspiracy" I feared was a reality. I have kept my stats and I will be watching closely now to see if my parcel count shows a significant uptick (I started the route the day of the count, so I can't compare it to what came before). I will be happy if:
1. My route evaluation ends up where I think it should -- in the 40K-42K range (that's 40-42 hours per week)
2. My parcel count stays as it was during the count. I would be very happy to be wrong about Amazon/USPS collusion to keep carrier pay down.
