Good morning. Looking forward to a high temperature of 62° in New York today, with sunny skies.
Wishing all a pleasant day free of strife.

Good morning. We'll have a high of 77. I plan an early outing to our mountain preserve. I thought this would be a good year for wildflowers and cactus flowers. So far there isn't much color but it's still good to be out there.
Enjoy your day.

Good morning. Eating breakfast, getting ready for the final push home. Great trip but home is best. Have a great day.

Awesome sunrise, springlike day ahead. Workout at the gym to ease hip and back pain, maybe a bike ride around the neighborhood.
Dawn will be out much of the day, so it will be an appropriate time for projects that involve lots of noise and sawdust.

Beautiful morning, I made it home from Wisconsin yesterday, then had a plumber come to reinstall my water pressure tank, the new tank that they installed a month ago. They did a poor job, and it had a tiny, intermittent leak, hopefully that's fixed now.
Music this afternoon with Phil, just the 2 of us today, it'll be like old times.

Bonny and I have a show today. We dug out and practiced up our Irish songs (all three of them...LOL!) to add to our show. It will be a fun show. It always is.
Have a great day, everyone.

Got the pictures today from last Thursday's performance at the Sun City Festival Wine Social. A great crowd. It was fun to go back to play there again. Eric is talking about maybe staying in Arizona after all. So we may still be a duo going forward. We'll see.

Up. Another day, another coffee. Sposed to get the ford back this afternoon, after they lighten my wallet. Also my moms old Mercedes goes in to diagnose the hood latch problem. I’m am anxious to get the cars sorted. If everything works out we might head to a local Mex place for dinner. They run a special on Tuesdays on their fajitas, and they are pretty great. So we will see.

My little TENS unit worked wonders for some pain-free guitar playing last night. Now it is quiet time at the home office. Wordle 997 4/6

Younger daughter is returning from Finland today. While there, she was taught to drive a dogsled.

Ravel's "Bolero" was just played on the wireless -- basically a 17-minute crescendo.
Any drummers here who have ever had to play that snare part in high school or college or community orchestra?
I can't imagine how a percussionist would have any regard for the piece beyond dread. (Even though I really like it as a listener, always have.)

It's a "take me now, Lord! I have climbed the mountain!" solo for trombonists.

It's a "take me now, Lord! I have climbed the mountain!" solo for trombonists. You ever played it? On edit: "Bolero," I mean, not the trombone.
