Good morning. A weather system will start moving through today. It'll just be windy and cooler here but higher elevations will get snow.
Have a good day.

Morning all. Got the truck back yesterday. Cost a 1000 bucks to replace the SCCM module and service the tranny. Going to Costco this am to see about a new battery for it. That should do for the truck for a while. The Mercedes is sort of fixed. The hood latch is working better, but not perfect. I’ll sell it as is and hope for the best. That saves us from registering it, and insurance, and it hardly gets used.
We will have dinner tonight at Mario’s, a little Italian joint my mom loved. Their Sand Dabs are a local treat.

Good morning. It is good to be home. Slept like a rock last night. Looks like a nice rest of the week weather wise. I've got a day of yardwork ahead of me so I guess I should get started.....in a bit. Have a great day everyone.

Good morning, another nice day before a little cool down and maybe a little rain.
I have some guitar homework to do before Friday's open mic. Phil and I will do a couple songs together, one of which is new to me.

Good morning.
40F-61F partly cloudy.
Had little energy yesterday and didn't even post the Daily. I did manage a little shop time and finished up repairs on a Recording King ros-06 000 12 fret slot head with K&Ks installed. Very difficut to reglue a bridge with plate pickups in it and not ruin the pickups. I didn't get a case for it so I'll solve that problem today. But first I'm off to Cub Foods/pharmacy for a few things. Been spending too much money on Amazon lately but I'm low on some shop supplies. Now I'm restocked and ready to work.

A good week so far. A fun hike on Monday, in spite of things not going as planned. A good Zoom book discussion yesterday. Then good news at my retinal specialist visit. The bulge in my retina due to AMD and epithelial detachment has spontaneously decreased. This happens sometimes and is not completely understood. Consequently my vision in that eye has improved. Today Mr. H and I will go over our taxes. I finished them in Turbotax weeks ago. We owe a lot because of selling some mutual fund shares, so no hurry to file. Tonight we'll go out for Thai food. It will be a bit cooler today and then possible rain tomorrow. Rain is good.

My understanding is that they need to be charged at a higher current and voltage rate than lead acid. Mike I was not aware of a need to charge at a higher current or voltage rate. The change from lead acid to lithium is a common one for motorcycles. The battery that I replaced was also lithium. I had put about 1,000 miles on the bike and had no charging problems. The bike is a 2014. I bought it used and didn't know how old the battery was. I was guessing that the original battery lasted 4 to 5 years, and the replacement 5 to 6 years so thought it best to replace it.
