Good morning, everyone. Happy Easter to those who observe the day. Good wishes to those who don't. I'll attend the 7:00 service to avoid the crowds, although weather may minimize the crowds anyway. Yesterday I was looking at some old family photos as well as my great-grandmother's scrapbook. I decided to arrange it all in a series. Wordle 1,016 3/6* ⬜⬜🟨⬜⬜ ⬜🟩⬜🟨🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩

Happy Easter everyone!
Today's Easter celebration will be at my brother's home, about an hour from where I live. Tomorrow's Easter will be a my place, when my sister and BIL stop, on there spring migration from Texas to Minnesota.
Next weekend will be the third Easter celebration, it will be in Wisconsin at my daughter's, who is still in Scotland today, with Granddaughter.

Good morning, today is Ostara in the pagan world. Enjoy the day. We're getting ready to head out for the days celebrations at Kelly's. Gonna be a nice day and we get to spend it with the grandkids. Life is good.

Good morning.
31F47F cloudy.
The girls will be over this morning for stuffed French toast and Easter baskets. I will have my breakfast and then do a few things to prepare for an inspection from the Fire Marshall tomorrow.
Everyone is home again, that's good.

Staying home because still under the weather. Don't feel too awful but don't want to alarm the other folks.
Can't decide if I should celebrate Easter, Resurrection, or LGBTQ+ day...you know, the one our president declared today to be.

I've made my decision and am celebrating Easter. Up earlier than normal due to choir duties. Glad that we're not singing at the sunrise service. There's a 90% chance of rain. The high is supposed to be 57F but so far we haven't dipped below 61.
Boneless leg of lamb has been marinating since yesterday. It will just be Mr. H and me. No family in Tucson. But I did have a long phone chat with my brother in Montana yesterday. And Mr. H had a Zoom chat with his daughter in Cave Creek, AZ on Friday. That is, until her Internet went down and they switched to a phone call.

Can't decide if I should celebrate Easter, Resurrection, or LGBTQ+ day...you know, the one our president declared today to be. To be fair, the awareness date was established as March 31 in 2009. Since then, it has coincided with Easter only this year, and I just checked tables stretching into 2067 and they won't coincide again in that entire span. Considering the complicated manner in which the Easter date is determined, a coincidence is almost inevitable. I don't think it's worth getting too worked up about. (Addition edited in:) So it was established privately 15 years ago. Biden made the first proclamation to note the annual event, recognized worldwide, in 2021.

Happy Easter and welcome to the season of rebirth and renewal. I feel I am on the Renewal Highway, or at least the Refurbished Rural Route. Some parts are new, some rebuilt, some donated by unknowns. Bless those Unknowns, you know? A life done but still giving.

Coincidentally (to Don's family photos) I had just last night posted my favorite family photo of my grandparents, Elmer John and Helen (Gabby) Bauman.

Thirteen Easters ago (I think - 2011) I celebrated over at Cornflake's house. Thanks again, Cornflake, for welcoming me into your home, especially when I was so far away from any place I knew as home. Around 20 years ago on Easter I received a phone call from Jesus. Seriously, that's what caller ID said. I didn't answer the first time it rang. The second time Jesus called, I answered. It turned out to be a wrong number. Sure, I lived in an area where Jesus was a someone common first name, but I still thought it was a little... strange? Here's a live version of Ry singing the song that came to mind.

Good afternoon from sunny Brooklyn, NY.
I'd like to wish everyone who celebrates this holiday a good one, a peaceful one, and a day of culinary delight, as well. Pascal lamb sounds really good right about now... here's something to keep you occupied after dinner, from my town to yours.
Had a busy morning, since I am the only Semite on this board: shopped, made a Dutch Baby for the offspring (we can call it that again since Max Verstappen lost the race last week) and am knee-deep in laundry right now. Tomorrow will be my last day with the Tribe, as I have indicated previously. It will be a brave new world, but I am up for the challenge of changing my old structure for a new one. It's kind of like being reborn, eh, retirees?

Easter dinner is happening today. I can't do the lifting, but I can give directions while my daughters to the work. More like a Christmas meal with turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and some sort of dessert they're making.

I think that would be Robbie Joe's (?) teenage son, now probably a man in his 30s.
