Long day at the office. 4 box holders (mail that goes to every house on a route) slowed me WAY down. Palestine Lake is near the end of my route. It is home to scores of swans. Also scores of gulls. Also, yesterday, QUITE unusually, I saw a couple of snow geese out on the lake on their way to somewhere else. The land on the other side of lake is elevated (maybe 30' or so) such that the view is looking down at the lake. It's really striking to see swans all over the lake and gulls flying above them but below the view from the other side. It's a symphony in white. It's schswaning.
