Good morning. Up extra early to go birding with the Audubon folks at Honeymoon Island in Dunedin. Shore birds are on the agenda. Hopefully they'll cooperate and I'll get some good pictures. After that I'll be watching Arsenal vs. Bayern Munich this afternoon. Have a great day folks.

Good morning from the desert. Today I'll make an overnight trip to a favorite destination that has trees and running water. I suspect the trees are just leafing out. I'll take my camera but photos are just an excuse for being where I like to be.
Enjoy your day.

Good morning from the Prairie. It's a beautiful sunny morning here, a great day for music practice this afternoon.
Had a great "Easter" celebration last weekend in Wisconsin that included hunting, and finding, 3 native American artifacts and buying a boat for my grandson.

Yesterday was a full eclipse here, so here are some obligatory pictures of an eclipse that look like most other pictures you've seen, but not as nice is a picture looking down over the railing inside the Statue of Liberty, from my recent trip to the Big Apple. I haven't come up with a good title for it. Actually I have, but it's disrespectful.

Good bright and sunny morning. I'm feeling feeling pretty good these days. How old are you now, Todd? Working down from 90?

Even though the survivalists from the Yukon beat Purdue, probably unfairly, the morning has dawned bright and cheerfully over the 9th tee. Things look spring-like and hopeful. Probably a ruse, but so far so good. 13 more days in this cast. I don’t know whether to be giddy or depressed. Anyway, 13 more days. Yay!

As far as I know, the only thing on today's agenda is a trip to Home Depot to get things to fix broken stuff around the house and to buy some plants and potting soil. Oh, yeah, also on the agenda is using those things.
The day didn't start out well because the power went out just after 5:30 AM. It was only off for about 10 minutes but I couldn't get back to sleep. The UPSs on our computers beep when power goes off. The refrigerator beeps and the radar watchdog barks when it comes back on.

Morning. Sun is just coming up over the bay and it looks pretty. Birds are chirping, loudly. Yesterday we hit up Costco, and the farmers market, and we are loaded. Strawberry papayas, apple bananas, limes, greens… and sushi from Costco, which wasn’t as good as the sushi we got from the Dolphin, but was about half the price. Today I’ll go for a swim, and poke around Hanalei town. Mike This mornings view:

Oh, yeah, also on the agenda is using those things. My retirement rule of only doing one thing at a time requires that going to the store and getting things is today's thing. Actually using them would be tomorrow's thing.

It is in stock but way too heavy for us to to get into the truck. DaWife will assemble it, without my help and with my mouth kept shut if I know what's good for me.

Sold the timeshares about 10 years ago.

Any thoughts on what make of guitar he is playing in this photo? That bridge looks like a Washburn, but not the rest of it, to me.
