One week to go in this rather fashionable cast. PT was here yesterday working on stairs. You wouldn’t think 3 steps could be so many but 3 steps on one leg is a lot. I may actually be walking again by mid-June.

Good morning, folks. I'm glad you're making progress, LJ.
Starting today we'll have highs in the 90s for the foreseeable future. That's Phoenix,
Our church has a mass on Wednesdays at noon. The person who ordinarily assists with that service needed a substitute today and I agreed to handle it. At 6:00 I'll go back to church for a vestry meeting. That's about it for plans. Have a good day.

Good morning. Looks like a nice day here weather wise. It's a bit of a sad day as well as tonight will be the end of a twenty year run of being Tampa Bay Lightning season ticket holders for daughter Kelly and myself. Aging and grandkids have made it time to end the run, but it was a great time while it lasted. Life goes on.
I hope your recovery continues LJ. Have a great day folks.

Good things to have. The one I had last fall sent me off on quite an adventure. Slice and dice, cancer scare, cancer un-scare, probes here and there, incisional hernia, scheduled patch job this may upcoming. 70 years of never having spent a day in hospital other than the day I was born, then BOOM!
But, I'm alive, happy, and in good shape (relatively speaking), but without that colonoscopy catch, I would be in big trouble.

Good morning.
44F-55F cloudy and windy.
DaWife needs some retirement documents notarized so we will do a quick run to the Bank during her lunch hour.
Lots of shop work done yesterday, hoping to repeat that today.
Don't know about dinner yet. We've got plenty of food just no ideas yet.

An inside day. We finally got a significant rain yesterday 1.6 inches.
There was a radar indicated tornado about 3-5 miles north and west of my house. Apparently it didn't touch down.

“Up periscope ‘“ Colonoscopy this morning. Then off for a He-man breakfast. Well, everything came out OK. Strangely enough he found a Polynesian Princess, I think he said. It was the best nap I’ve had in a long time.

Good news, Marshall, but the important question is, how was lunch?

I had a good sleep -"everything came out" in the SF Bay *a log*- and a good breakfast - yogurt, banana, raspberries, blueberries and liquid..... and harmonious classical music Lunch soon - chef salad - tom, avoc, hard egg, cheese, meat bits, balsamic Snacks - skin potato w/bacon and cheese --- walnut Dinner -My snarky humor- I’m not very PC. Jesus is not coming. He combing his hair “Kookie” helped Jesus in heaven He’s already been this planet.

Done with work early. Now I'm off to the dentist for a cleaning and a look at a tooth that's been bothering me. I hate dentists.

the generation
we will not never come back. but we do have memories.
walked to school and then walked back. did their homework alone to get out asap to play in the street. spent all their free time in the streets with their Friends. played hide and seek when dark. made mud cakes. collected sports cards. collected and washed & returned empty coke bottles to the local grocery store for 5 cents each , then bought a Mountain Dew and candy bar with the money. made paper toys with their bare hands. bought vinyl albums to play on record players. collected photos and albums of clippings of their life experiences as a Kid. played board games and cards on rainy days. TV went off at midnight after playing the National Anthem. had parents who were there. laughed under the covers in bed so parents didn't know we were still awake.
passing passing passing we will never return no matter how hard we try. I loved growing up when I did. it was the best of times
We are a different era - the best of present time. no worries.
*a collaboration*

YUMMY ! Dinner was quite nice too. I’ll probably have a little snack later. Though I’ not sure my plumbing is up to a heavy load so quickly. Ahh, what the heck.

But with all said and done, I did walk out with good news. The cancer doctor told me that there is nothing he can do. That freaked me out until he said "You don't have cancer". Whew!
