Good morning. Up early again, school is back in session. Preparing a light breakfast for Her Grace.
It's May Day and, in France, it's a tradition to give your friends lily of the valley to honor the Fête du Travail (Labor Day). So, friends...
Happy May Day. Power to the workers. Enjoy your day.

We are staying at the “Paris” Hotel. Maybe I will see some Lily of the Valley today. Taking a helicopter tour of the city this evening. That should be magnificent.
Enjoy your day, everyone.

Good morning. We'll have about 60-90F and clear skies. My only scheduled event for the day is to help a friend install an exhibit of her paintings. Shouldn't take long.
Enjoy your day.

Hummingbirds have arrived. I saw their tiny suitcases near the feeder. That brightens the day. Barb took me for a car ride yesterday. I can’t tell you how good that felt. I had my head out the window like a big dog. Today we are going to do carry out breakfast in the car. We will park along the lake at the fair grounds. It’s easier than trying to get into the restaurant & dealing with walker and wheelchair. And we can listen to music and watch the joggers while we eat. Life is what you make it. Or what it makes you.

Good morning. 48F-64F cloudy. No going out today, I'll spend the day in my happy place, the shop. I picked up two good looking strip steaks at Cub yesterday as HyVee has been short on decently thick steaks lately. We will have those tonight with a salad. I can imagine LJ with his head out the car window, tongue hanging out, drooling on the car door.

Cool cloudy and breezy.
It has been four weeks since our daughters car died in the driveway. After several false starts, I believe we have found an affordable vehicle that is not a complete wreck.
Off to the gym. A light workout on the weight machines lasts about 45 minutes, about the duration of one album on the phone or streaming selections. Thence working in the back yard, trying to bring greenery to the barren ground around the shed.

HyVee just bought them out so HyVee has entered the IN market. We are familiar with them due to lots of time in Iowa. Hopefully, it bodes well.

Morning.
Had a nice drizzly day yesterday and it sounds like more light rain coming tonight/tomorrow. Perfect!

Yesterday at 10:00 AM I turned my rock cooker off. I just got done unloading it, 26 hrs later, the sand was still hot. It looks like the heat did what it was supposed to do. I did one test, took off a big flake, and it broke easily and cleanly, with a nice overshoot across a 3.5 inch rock.
I have a nice cut on my thumb to show for my effort.
Lawn mowing this afternoon.

I had a normal day... music, meditation, liquid, food, talk with friends..... I read an article Time Magazine re: donald trump and The Report Rooney 5/1/24
THE ONCE AND FUTURE PRESIDENT: In a lengthy interview with Time Magazine, Donald Trump said that if re-elected to the presidency he would use the military to detain and deport migrants and hedged on the possibility of political violence after the 2024 election. On the latter he said, “I think we’re going to win, and if we don’t win, you know, it depends. It always depends on the fairness of an election.” Trump said, “I don't think they'll be able to do the things that they did the last time, which were horrible.” The truth is that no one did anything to unfairly deny him the election. On using the military against migrants Trump said, “Well, these aren’t civilians, these are people that aren’t legally in our country. This is an invasion of our country.”
I do hope DT doesn't win....
Enjoy your days - peace

I've been six weeks (solo in bed - hospital, rehab, recovery - 6 infections, surgery, too many medicines.
I liked in the planet - 4 times - a lab, a hosp (surgery), rehab to my apt, hosp to my apt.
Possibly I'll come to see the planet to see my friend and go to a restaurant - Chinese or Cajun or Mexican
The fifth - outside with the earth - Mother Nature and more
Woohoo......
