F-Troop. Now that was a show! Amidst the ubiquitous Gilligan's Island episodes and all the other crap on TV has anyone found reruns of those wonderful shows? "Where the Haukawi?" (sp??)

There is a big flat screen TV in the common room at my office. It used to be turned to CNN 24 hours a day. Seems someone got tired of listening to the news so they changed it to TVLand. Now you wander in there and get "I Love Lucy" and "A-Team".
Funny thing is NONE of the people who work here are old enough to remember either of these shows (or any other show on TVLand) and they look at these programs and just stare in amazement that some of them (A-Team in particular) are just so amazingly bad.

F Troop was a hilarious show. The Heckowi name for the Indian tribe was taken from an old joke that some of you may be familiar with.

I thought #3 was
There's a man who lives a life of danger To every one he meets he stays a stranger...
Secret Agent Man
What was that show with Patrick Mc Goosomething?
And Johnny Rivers did the tune.

I think you are right, Brady Bunch lyrics start out like this:
Here's the story of a lovely lady, Who was bringing up three very lovely girls. All of them had hair of gold, like their mother, The youngest one in curls.
Here's the story, of a man named Brady, Who was busy with three boys of his own. They were four men, living all together, Yet they were all alone.

secret agent man lyrics....funny I just had a guitar student who wanted to learn this song!
SECRET AGENT MAN
(P.F. Sloan / S. Barri)
There's a man who leads a life of danger To everyone he meets he stays a stranger With every move he makes another chance he takes Odds are he won't live to see tomorrow
Secret agent man, secret agent man They've given you a number and taken away your name

Thanks Kari, I didn't know who the authors were. But the show was called The Prisoner. www.retroweb.com/prisoner.htmlSemi surreal sort of psyco active drug inspired low budget Brit effort. Patrick Mc Goohan was the guy.

I'll see your ten theme songs and raise you ten. Even though I couldn't remember your number 9 theme.
(1) ... farm livin' is the life...
(2) I gotta gang, you gotta gang...
(3) ...through the courtesy of Fred's big feet...
(4) ...least expect it, you're elected...
(5) ...our old LaSalle ran great...
(6) ... bluest skies you've ever seen, in Seattle...
(7) ...faster than lightning...
(8) ...it's about life in a funny place...
(9) ...who can take a sunny day...
(10) ...what a girl, what a whirl, what a life...

the Secret Agent Man theme song was for a TV show called 'Secret Agent Man" starring Patrick McGoohan. It was originally a British show called "Danger Man" but when it came over here we renamed it.
"The Prisoner" was a different and much stranger show.

Everybody knows in a second life, we all come back sooner or later. As anything from a pussycat to a man-eating alligator.
