I'm not good enough for this guitar and there's no way I could justify buying another one.
What's the nut width?

The nut width is 1 & 3/4 inches. It sounds as good as it looks. Maybe I was a little off-base regarding my playing style and this guitar...my ears hear spruce tops better, I guess. This guitar can handle up to medium heavy flatpicking as well.
I can send MP3 clips if anyone is interested.

That is an excellent price, Kevin! I happen to own her twin sister. One of the best I've ever owned. If I could work it into my budget I'd gladly take it off your hands. I'm another whose playing is not worthy of such a fine instrument but what the hay.... that never stopped me before.

I too wish I could pick this one up, but just spent big bucks on a piano.

I wish I could give this guitar to Anton...he would make it sing.

I heard from Anton a little over a week ago, and he is really happy with his Santa Cruz, both the tone and comfort, although he says he does need to have the action adjusted a smidge.
I always think of light-touch players, too, when I ponder who might benefit from the richness of Goodalls, but it has been my experience that most of them, for some reason, like a more fundamental tone.
Baughman being a big exception there.

I actually dreamed that I bought this guitar and I was wondering how to tell my wife.

Some fortunate soul gained an exceptionally nice instrument.
